Page 100 – One Hundred Pages!
One Hundred Pages! Theoretically, I always knew it was possible , but in practice I always thought the odds were against me. Not anymore! 100 pages and not a missed update and I’m proud of that. Thanks for reading the last 100, the next 100 is only going to get better. You know what is crazy? We’ve also just hit 1,000 comments ! How crazy is that to have 1,000 comments at the same time as the 100th page posts? So thanks for all of your great comments! Keep ’em coming. π
Its also fitting that Sabrina is in the middle of trying to exorcise her past failures against the woman that has only caused her pain and defeat in the past, for this 100th page. Also, Sabrina performs just a crazy cool turnbuckle dropkick with the fans firmly behind her. "Rope aided corner dropkick," is the official term and thanks to Miss HHH of the prowrestling.com forums for helping track down the actual name for that move.
Loretta’s in some trouble, and some of that is her own fault for taking Sabrina lightly and is paying the price for it right now.
Thanks again for reading Rival Angels, and keeping up with, Sabrina, Krystin, Sun and Brooke, the four roommates who are in the fight of their lives against the best wrestlers in the world, while contending with personal and professional rivalries and trying not to kill each other. One hundred pages are now history, there’s a lot more to come!

Sabrina took a couple of second to oblige the fans and then right back on her offense.. Sabrina really serious destroying Loretta.
Mini panel 5: Loretta is a mest.. she’s really in no condition to fight now.. poor Loretta..
I wonder what’s in the next up date.. Sabrina “tuning up the band” for the ultrakick.. coz on Loretta position.. it’s a good time for Sabrina prepare to finish Loretta. and I hope Sabrina waste time by not finish Loretta, if Loretta manage to find a flaw on Sabrina’s move or Sabrina missed or made a mistake on her move and then Sabrina capitalize, it would be bad for Sabrina.
Looking from Sabrina’s moves. Sabrina’s plan is not giving Loretta to recover, and which she must dominate the first move and then don’t give Loretta a chance to make her move..
Sabrina really made “harder, better, faster, stronger” in her A game.. but I don’t she could keep this up against of other opponent, looking at this now.. she’s reading Loretta like an open book. could she do this on her next match?
“Rope aided corner dropkick” where did Sabrina learned that move? I never saw she used in on the fatal four. I wonder if Sun can do the Rope aided corner dropkick? I wonder too, is this the worst match for Loretta or she had worst match in the past?

I think on the next update Sabrina will tune up the band, preparing for the ultrakick. looking at the situation, it’s a great time to execute that move.
I notice Sabrina plan here, is not letting Loretta made an offense. and is this the worst match for Loretta or she have worst in the rival angels before this?
I hope Sabrina won’t waste her time, not finishing off Loretta in this stage. if Loretta manage to recover and made her offense move or Loretta got enough strenght to counter Sabrina’s move and Loretta capalize on her moment it Sabrina will lose again.

Looking at her at panel 6, I really like to cheer for her, but what she did to Sabrina on episode 65. shaking Sabrina’s face.. I rather not.. maybe on Loretta’s next match. we’ll never know..

@W.G.C.: The way Loretta is positioned right now, that kick applied to her face could have easily broken her neck. Sabrina wants to beat Loretta, and badly, but she doesn’t want to kill her!
And while Loretta is quite apparently of latin origin, she doesn’t seem too keen on displaying any form of nationality in her in-ring persona. For all that we know, she might be from Michigan as well.

I’m glad you liked the new move by Sabrina too, I would hate to get hit by it. π To your questions, Loretta would probably concede that this is the worst that she’s looked considering its Sabrina that she’s fighting. Sabrina wouldn’t aim for the face with that move because its unnecessary. The chest is a bigger stable target. If she went for the face/head, she could miss and really hurt herself. Not to mention, going for the face could do permanent damage and that’s something Sabrina would want on her conscience. Is an Ultrakick on the way? Maybe. π Loretta is from Texas, but she’s of Mexican heritage.
Glad you liked the Rope Aided Corner Dropkick, but I think you’re right that we need a better, catchier name. It might be a good time for a contest! Name that move. π

The big one– panel four? — makes you feel like you’re watching a ‘blows up into rays’ firework rocket.
From the inside.
Sabrina’s athletic build really comes through in this view of her arms and back. Between the personality the promotions no doubt depict and her relatively modest costume, I can see why she has so many female fans.
Loretta has only one chance; to crawl over and trip Sabrina… or does she get a second wind fired by pure rage? Losing to Sabrina would hurt as bad emotionally as being kicked, -twice-, does physically.
The Amanda and BetaJess fanart was cool, wouldn’t mind seeing more!

MGC, if Sun does that move, Rising Sun would be an appropriate name for it and really, Sun and Sabrina don’t mind using each others moves. Mist Juice, I think it could be a fun marketing gimmick for Sun but I could see the backlash being that kids imitating Sun would spit it into other people’s faces! lol You’ll have to ask Amanda why she drew Brooke pushing Krystin. π Chloe could certainly pull off this move, though she’s a bit more technical than high flying.

Roller Derby Fan, you always have some great comments to share. Thanks for the Most Triumphant rating, I’m glad it delivered! This corner dropkick and page all around were kind of tricky so I’m glad it turned out. Unofficially, most female readers like Sabrina/Sun and really don’t like Brooke, and probably for the same reasons you listed. Loretta’s getting whupped up on, and I can tell you that she’s the kind of person where the pain of losing is more intense than the thrill of winning.
I’d love to see more Amanda/BetaJess Rival Angels, maybe in another 100? π For now, their webcomic Salt The Holly will do nicely (which updated today!). Thanks again for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
Got to admit, I love that kick too. Looks cool when Jeff Hardy does it too. Easy to counter if the opponent is playing possum, but well worth the impact if not. Good shot Ultragirl.
Love this match up. Of course, I have a feeling it’s about to be gutcheck time. Sabrina is going too big too fast. Loretta may be hurt, but she’s not out yet. I smell another high impact move, likely aerial, and a reversal at last. I don’t know why but I see Ultragirl going for a leverage move, like a flying head scissors or a huricanrana and getting it reversed into a Styles Clash type slam. Not enough for a pin, but it’ll turn the match tide for a while in a hurry.
That said, since we’re talking real wrestling here, does Sabrina rmind anyone else of Michelle McCool?
Well, as evidenced by the last panel, Loretta did manage to move out of the corner, and more than just keeling over sideways.
Ultragirl’s interaction with the fans may be good for her image and her ego, but at the moment it needlessly gives Loretta time to recover.
You said it Salazen. I saw the PPV this last weekend and MVP countered that corner dropkick multiple times. Luckily for Sabrina, Loretta didn’t have this move scouted! I’m glad you’re enjoying the match and I think you’re going to like the next update. π The comparison to McCool is sound. I’ve liked her for quite a while and I think she’s progressively gotten better and better.
