Those be Louboutin boots that Sun be handling there and go easily for $1000. The tell tale sign of Louboutin boots are the red soles but it doesn’t seem like Sun in interested in any of that.

Well I don’t think she is becoming a rich snob as much as getting annoyed that she can’t get through to her friend.
That’s more like it. Yvonne or any fanciness hasn’t really played into it so far.
Hmmmm…and what better reason does she need to put on the wrestling boots and join forces with Cocoa! They’re hot! They’re glamerous and they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Wait a second. I should’ve realized this when the last strip went up, but my brain seems to be on a three day delay…
After Sun made her accusation against Cocoa, Sabrina said she was sure there was a good explanation for what Sun had heard, and she seemed like she was determined to learn what that explanation was.
But in the last strip, it says a few days have passed since then.
And during these last few days, it seems like Sabrina has not bothered to try and confirm or disprove the story Sun told her by, you know, just friggin’ walking up to Cocoa and asking her. I mean, they’re co-workers. It’s not as if Cocoa is hard to get ahold of. Hell, if anything, it would be difficult not to bump into her, right?
So…you’re suggesting that Sabrina is avoiding Cocoa, to maybe NOT have to confirm/deny the story laid by Sun? Not a bad theory but one that can only hold so long as the rest of this conversation will show. 😉
Wasn’t really suggesting that; I wondered if she might be, but didn’t understand why she would.
If it were me, then I’d want to know one way or the other, soon as I could. If I asked Cocoa and she told me that the real story was very different, then I’d breathe a sigh of relief. And if she told me that yes, she did do that, then I’d be pretty appalled and the friendship would probably be over (unless she could convince me that she had changed, that is), but I’d prefer that to walking around with this constant worry in the back of my head that I might not be able to trust Cocoa. It’d be like tearing off a band-aid vs. pulling it off bit by bit by bit.
Of course, that’s how I’d handle it, but I’m not Sabrina. Well, at least not last I checked. Brb…
