Chapter: Chapter 7 - Armageddon Annhilation
Characters: Amanda Breaker, Angel Soprano, Brooke Lennox, Jennifer Needles, Kat Smith, Krystin Moline
Location: Angel Dome arena
Krystin Moline is your Television Champion and the title has been a bit of a hot potato. Can Krystin break that particular streak and defend her Television Championship from Brooke? On paper, it seems like a no-brainer but as you’ve seen, some things have changed.

Callie should have been TV champion since she would proud to be second best under Rua. Like fellow countryman Wade Barrett is under John Cena or Sheamus. lol
I’d be very happy with Callie as TV Champion. Quite a spread with Brenda, Black and Blue and her, eh? 😉

I approve. I just find it interesting that “The Definition of Technician” won via pinfall, while the woman she beat was the one to earn her title reign via submission. Seems to me like it should have been the other way around.
Either way, Krystin’s looking pretty good. Purple and gold are definitely her colors.
I believe Xtina’s also a technical wrestler.

If you like Krystin, then maybe you’ll like this…if you beat someone with your gameplan, you are a good strategist. If you beat someone by improving along the way, you are cunning. In a tech vs tech battle with youth vs experience thrown in, something’s got to give. But who’s to say a different outcome won’t happen next time, should they fight again?

Hmmm, I don’t understand why Sun felt the need to belittle her before hand though. Her attitude sucks the more I see of it.

You have to understand, Sun is a heel thus she is a bitch! AKA Ziggler is a heel thus he is a arrogant asshole. lol
But by that logic, there’s no reason why Brooke shouldn’t also be popular, since she’s also a heel and a bitch.
You really can’t compare this comic to real life wrestling, since the competition we see here is real and real life wrestling is all scripted.
The reason Ziggler has fans in real life is because those fans know that he actually isn’t really an arrogant asshole; they know he’s just putting on an act in furtherance of a storyline, and so they don’t take anything he says personally.
In addition, they respect Ziggler’s ability, and they have also seen him lose so often that they root for him to win more because they feel sorry for him. Even now that he has the WHC, people worry that he’ll get a run like Swagger’s or Christian’s.
By contrast, when Sun–or anybody!–acts like a bitch in this comic, they are not actors playing parts. They are being themselves, and what we see of them is every bit as real as what goes on in the ring.
So when Sun keeps on being a bitch like she has been, there’s no reason to forgive her for it. You can’t say “Oh, she’s just playing a part,” because she isn’t.
Fuck her.
Sun is the Rainbow Dash of Rival Angels. She doesn’t like anyone, except her friends. She doesn’t fly halfway around the world for anyone.

So, I JUST read the whole comic, start to finish the day before yesterday, when I found it…and I LOVE this. To be honest, I always thought wrestling was super lame. Especially male wrestling. BUT then I saw an episode of project runway where they had to dress some wwe divas and they were pretty sexy. And this comic is sexy. It’s great. I’m all in on the story.
It IS super weird still to see my name used in the comic so often. I’ve never heard anyone using Brina as a nickname for ‘Sabrina’ but I’ll go with it haha. Anyway, I just wanted to say that you have a loyal new reader and I’m looking forward to seeing MUCH more 🙂

Sun is underwhelmed by both her former stablemates. But none of them really got on, they were just bunking together.
Still, Krystin’s getting all the love from the crowd, and that’s what matters.

I think you are right, assuming Krystin doesn’t lose…then she’d be in line too.
Krystin isn’t a face man. The only reason why she is being cheered in this match is because Krystin is the lesser of two evils since Brooke is a Helles Belles member. You need to remember her arrogance within the Interview & the stuff she did to Sara a while back. To me, Krystin is a Betweener leaning towards heel or heel.

See I thought it would be her at first until I saw the voting incentive for today and allowed it to change my mind. I should have just went with my first guess. lol Oh well. This should be VERY interesting!
To be fair, it’s my job to make those guesses hard. XD
That I did kind of see coming, and it puts Sun’s commentary into context. Sun definitely wasn’t into the Upstarts concept… in her eyes, it was “Me, Sabrina, and the two I don’t like.” So bringing her out for commentary makes sense, being a match between two members of her former quasi-stable.
Interesting match on paper. While Krystin can wrestle rings around Brooke, Brooke does have that power game that can often be a gordian sword. More importantly, they’re old training partners, so they know each other’s style and habits. In this Brooke actually has an edge, since she’s gone through some major changes while Krystin is basically the same. Even with the boring costume. No, the skirt isn’t an improvement.
And naturally, there’s the whole surrounded by enemy stable thing. AND then there’s Sun, who is likely to get involved somehow. I mean, when an active wrestler is on commentary, it’s more unusual for them NOT to get involved.

Good point. Her core is lots thinner and she’s lost the abs. Not good for a techie in general. Not good for a grappler in general. Maybe she’s going after my sexiest angel award too? Getting greedy?

i see Krystin’s decided to finally make a choice and fall to the face side of that tweener line she’d been straddling for a while (yeah she fought Sara who was a heel but as Right to Censor know, people actually like the scantily clad gals being scantily clad and won;t fully support the one trying to stop that)
Sun’s “whoopie” sounds a bit tinged with jealousy given how the dark horse candidate was the first to grab gold among the Upstarts. also possibly annoyed that Krystin got to Xtina first despite Sun beating Xtina at the PPV before Xtina won the title.
Krystin vs Brooke is gonna be interesting since it will be basically the heel version of Sun/Brina friendship among the upstarts but it looks like they’ve had a falling out. Good thing Brooke has the numbers on her side for her sake. After all Krystin kinda took brooke under her wing a bit as far as teaching wrestling moves went so it’ll be a case of “Yeah i taught you everything you know…but not everything I know.”
Of course Brooke by now thinks she’s better cause she has lots of people to hide behind now so she can run her mouth all she wants to.

The prob with tying her up is that it ties up Krystin. That’s not a good idea with the cavalry massing. But it’s a lovely image.
