I pity the fool. She wants to be great and made a bunch of bad mistakes in her quest and they cam back to haunt her.
This is pretty much it in a nutshell.
What darkmark said. Brooke’s character has never really been nuanced before. She’s always just been out for more, more, more social influence, and doing whatever it takes to get that, and her method of dealing with disappointment has been… not good. We haven’t really seen her vulnerable until now.
I think there have always been hints f her vulnerability. She put on a good front but her actions indicate an insecure person.
Agree. One could make the case she was in the wrong business. But she has it in her to be a worker.
Of course what you say is true. Her insecurity has always been obvious. However, right now, for the first time we’ve seen, she’s dropped the act. She’s being honest about her feelings. Definitely something we haven’t seen from her before.
It helps having Amanda. Who knows how things would’ve went down if Amanda stayed with Hell’s Belles?

I have not figured out Amanda yet. She seems to be one of the more stable members of the Rivals.
Brooke is starting to realize that a LOT of things haven’t panned out for her the way she would’ve liked them too. It’s hard to ignore that kind of thing for too long.
Well life is getting more interesting for me in the world of wrestling. It seems like I’m getting more offers to fight. Could it because Albone has featured me again?

This is a nice segment. It gives a little depth to them. The art is is right on, especially the faces in the last panels.
It’s nice to see more of the building. But I’m glad you didn’t show my suite. I don’t need any cam drones outside the windows.

I’m really starting to like Amanda. Lady’s got her head screwed on straight. Well… Apart from the whole thing about thinking Brooke would have stayed loyal to Amanda the way she did for Brooke when the Belles offered her the blonde Aussie’s place in the lineup, but I suppose we all have our blind spots.
