Chapter 11-Page-26-TV Main Event
Ultradragon is showing up on other team’s radar, for better or worse.
Next up: Xtina challenges Kat for the interim Television Championship! Who do you think will win?
Readers may remember that Nikki is on something of a winning streak. How many is that in a row now?
Anime Central!
This weekend I’ll be at Anime Central, that is May 16-18! I’ll be in Artist Alley at table B19. In fact, I have a Making Webcomics panel at 10:15am this morning. XD I won’t have the new book yet, but I will have the other books, prints, posters and other fun stuff, including the Rival Angels Roster poster size!
Voting Incentive!
Let’s get it started! Vote to see what’s coming up next!
for the record..
“Powergirl” Katherine Smith never beat Xtina Carpenter in the past,
the question is can she beat Xtina now?
lemme guess…
Krystin Moline..
it will be triple treat match…
interesting….
Nice idea, a three some would get the guys attention.
I’m guessing the former champ is either coming to watch or have some words for Kat. The three of them have been at war over that belt it seems like. Gratz to Nikki, who puts herself in the hunt now too. So Yvonne’s got a girl in striking distance…
WOW!!
Mo Chen.. is a D.I. fan…
waaaa
Pointing something out does not make me a fan. Chill.
Why Mo Chen Why?
why you cheer D.I.?
I wonder what’s Snowkitten think about this..
since the Catgirls are still contenders..
#CATGIRLSRULES
With the way I’ve been winning lately it should be a great match and those two will learn a lot.
Oh did you see the video of the cat who saved the 4 year old boy for an evil dog? Sunbrina will feel just like that dog did.
yes I saw the Cat rescue the boy
Best be careful with those two. Otherwise you’ll be the one learning something.
M.G.C. is a Catgirl fan. Does that make them heels now? But he also likes the idea of Mo Chen being bad girl and I always disappoint him. Guess some men have their fantasies.
Hey!!!
I didn’t Like Mo Chen in D.I.
My money’s on Xtina. She’s got the momentum here.
And the catgirls are due for a run at a title shot. There’s no serious roadblocks to a title shot. Just some bumps in the road.
This is a great transition page! Lots going on;and handled really well!
Life is good when the Champ is in front of you.
Sunbrina should be happy to know that I know they exist.
The cats had a shot.
So? They had some gold, and still have more team experience than any others around.
Best of three coming up ;-)?
Should be a lot of wild fun in the ring … but will Albone show us the fight or swap back the locker room with Sunbrina getting massages?
Panel 5 is nice: two pretty ladies and Nikki prevailed http://youtu.be/O2m_ub_Hn7Y :D.
I’ll agree with the prevailing wisdom that it’s likely Krystin coming down the aisle, just to remind the interim champ and the #1 contender that she’s still around.
I can hear her now, “I’m still around, really!”
It’s good to stay in front of the fans.
The champ is here!
Thank you!
So now where with the team of Sunbrina go?
Have they decided to take tag team serious?
Will the other Rivals become ring side partners for them?
Has Brenda cleaned out the litter box?
Questions, questions, questions and only one that I can answer, Yes Brenda did….good girl.
*Gives you a big Gibb smack!
Nice job for Ultra Dragon winning Their first match as a tag team, but something tells me that the boss has something else plan for this new tag team.
Also, the main event is going to be interesting with a special guest ref in the fight. Either that or another challenger approaches the ring.
Can’t wait to see who else is entering the main event.
Poor Veronica. She looks so helpless.
Groucho Marx makes his entrance.
Rim shot: Ba-da Bing!
Looks like the Ultradragon star is slowly on the rise. As for this mystery person wanting to sit in on the Interim TV title match, they might want to be careful. Kat and Xtina are both in top shape and are about to tear it up. If this person was say… injured, it might only hurt them even more to get involved
well sounds like the catgirls may have had their attentions gained by the shinies of Ultradragon. and Victoria, what did i tell you last update about you losing? pay attention next time dammit! though i suppose this does further cement Nikki as Darth Yvonne’s chief henchwoman (Grand Moff Nikki?).
looks like Krystin’s heading out to commentary for a closer look at the two pretenders for her “real” TV championship fight to see who’s going to lose to her next.
Kristin is likely the one coming to ringside. She can’t stand not being in the spotlight. Question is how will she interject herself in this match.
In WWE, if a former or current champ wants to rattle a cage, you sit ringside and verbal bash someone with the announcers. Brooke’s done it already.
Sun also did that during Krystin’s title defence against Brooke.
Yeppers. She had no stake in that one.
Just more proof that Sabrina will never turn heel, just like he who shall not be named. The Catgirls, formerly the Santino Marella of Rival Angels, are now supposed to be a threat? Just because they hang out with Clifford Baines?
Well, there you have it. Until Sabrina gets double-crossed by Sun, every tag team in Rival Angels must be heel until further notice.
Couple of questions: Why would Sun turning on Sabrina make tag teams babyface?
Who is the wrestler who shall not be named? Ultimate Warrior? Sting? Ricky Steamboat? Bruno Sammartino? Rey Mysterio?
Whenever I heard “wrestler who shall not be named”, it was a reference to Benoit, but that doesn’t really fit the context.
I thought that too, and as much as I don’t remember him ever being a heel, he certainly went out in a pretty vile manner, and I’m hoping there isn’t any comparisons being drawn between him and Sabrina.
When he joined the Horsemen, they were heels, albeit with the whiff of Cool Heel Syndrome about them. Also, right after coming to WWF, he and Guerrero, Malenko, and Saturn went heel en masse by accepting a contract from HHH in exchange for turning on Foley.
That said, I’m sticking with my Cena assumption.
Going by context, I’d guess Cena?
Meh. I’ve mellowed on Cena, some. His in-ring work is really quite good, even if he’s not all about busting out BIG MOVEZ, using Japanese finishes as transition spots and such. Yeah, his act’s not the freshest, but the kids love him, and of the 30-odd people WWE has, not everyone has to be aimed at my demo (18-34 thankyouverymuch!)
I’m okay with Cena. I didn’t like his Doctor of Thuganomics nonsense and his promos are stiffer than his chops, but he’s a good worker in and out of the ring. I haven’t seen RAW yet, but if theyr’e going to strip Bryan of the belt, I’d prefer it to be someone other than Cena, and Orton for that matter.
Who’s left, though? I’m slowly warming to Bootista’s heel work, but he’s just not in good enough ring shape right now. I don’t think it’s the right time to put it on Roman, or any of the Shield. Kane? meh. Maybe HHH.
Too soon for Roman and Cesaro. Bootista wouldn’t be bad. Maybe Brock, Del Rios, RVD or Big Show? Bring back Punk! XD
Brock just can’t do it as a part-timer, and I don’t think he’s got any interest in working a full-time schedule. Del Rio’s not at all in that picture right now, and he didn’t do so well with his title reigns that he needs to be back in that picture. RVD….I hope you’re joking. Big Show might work, but it’d be kinda random, since he’s barely been used as of late.
Would RVD be worse than Kane? XD Yeah, not sure where Big Show is. I was thinking Brock because he’s a name and he could do the Rock schedule, though he doesn’t have anyone to fight. How about Sting?!! XD
RVD would be worse than Miz, at this point. (I should note that I reeeeeaaally don’t like RVD.)
Actually didn’t the Catgirls obliterate a couple of the Upstarts in the first season?
I think that was Brooke and Krystin.
YEP! Page 93, maybe?
Thought so, and they proved teamwork and skill (and a little rule bending) can overcome size and power.
It was fun hanging out with you this weekend at ACEN, dude! Hope you had a successful weekend and a safe trip home.
Likewise, yes and yes! XD
