Chapter: Chapter 13 - Blessing And Curse
Location: Angel Dome backstage
Sun and Sabrina seem wound up and ready to go and are making their case. But are they really ready for the tag team champions, Black and Blue?

Way to work the mic! Get that title match!
Nicely done! I like the coloring on this one.
Very good job, taunt thy enemies and maybe they will do something stupid.
The colors were good but a tiny splash of pink would made it perfect…
Sun is playing the game.
Thanks on the colors! 😀
Wow, what a tag team promo. And look, they’re eyeing the tag team champions. I bet Krystin is ever so broken-hearted that those two aren’t focusing on HER title…
Krystin is a like a bird with a broken wing…still chirping loudly but useless when it comes to flying…
Not sure why those two are eyeing the tag team title since they are solo fighters for the most part.
Krystin figures they’ve realized that they can’t beat her. After all, she knows everything about them, which just might come up.
Oooo I’m all ears!
Relying on Krystin to do your scouting, eh? Interesting…
Well, Sabrina had a major career arc in Japan, putting that part of her development outside Krystin’s eye… and Sun? Sometimes, knowledge that someone can hit you with a Shining Wizard while you’re standing upright doesn’t do much for you apart from knowing how you might get knocked out. Scouting is great, but it doesn’t guarantee the win. Not by a long shot.
If Krystin says she’s not worried about these two, she’s either let her ego destroy her intellect, or she’s lying.
Scouting is like any part of training and I think too little can hurt you and too much can. Like, with some MMA fighters, they’re like, I trained for 3-4 months to fight my opponent. That seems a little much to me unless maybe it’s a title fight. There should be something to just going out and fighting your game too. Connor McGregor and Ronda Rousey seem like good examples of that. You wouldn’t want to be taken by surprise by a Shining Wizard KO for example, but to tirelessly train and scout for it would be just as helpful.
To my mind, this is the ideal scouting checklist.
1. Do they target a specific part of the body? Do I need to focus on conditioning any specific part of my body to take more punishment? Can I make a minor modification to my defense to be better protected against the attacks I’m likely to receive?
2. Does their stance or body display any major weaknesses? Is there a target I should be attacking more than I normally do?
3. Are there any techniques they use that I Must Not Get Caught In Under Any Circumstances? How do I prevent them from using those? Are there any counters?
And that’s about it. The only really crucial bit is the last one, because their own prep, if they do it right, will screw with your conclusions from the other two. Good scouting and prep gives you a solid edge, and is crucial for technicians like Krystin, but it’s not a guaranteed win. Not by a long shot. Your best bet is to develop such a solid foundation that you don’t have to modify too much regardless of who your opponent is, and the more they scout, the more they understand how difficult it’s going to be.
Over-scouting just screws with your head and hinders your ability to fight at all.
That’s why I’m skeptical when I hear “I’m not scared of them because I know all about them.” It’s great boasting for the cunning type, and the crowd will probably eat it up, but you’d better not actually believe it.
Hike the mike! Sun knows how to cut a promo.
Sun knows it is important to get in the lime light.
For some reason the announcers think Brina is the person to talk to. Could it be because they like to talk to a woman who appears to be wearing a fancy bra instead of a top?
Well, peeps want to know if Sabrina is or isn’t in Damage Inc.
Sun is good at squelching that sort of talk, at least for now.
And yeah, the pretty bra doesn’t hurt. 😉
Phhht! I’m more impressed with her pants. But the fans want to see her in briefs. Go figure…
Nice call out to the champs. Still, they’re avoiding the major question about Sabrina’s status with Damage INC.
Will that question be answered in the future ? 🙁
So maybe Sabrina is planning to run for political office. I think it is mandatory by law not to answer questions and so she is practicing.
I was against Damage Inc before I was for it.
Of course that question will be answered. 😉
I recently checked out FAWN. It’s ok, though could do with less catfighting and more wrestling.
But one thing I wanted to recommend to you, Albone, is to include Youtube links of theme songs of the wrestlers. A small detail, but it will be most welcome.
Additionally, FAWN takes place in the same universe as RA correct?
Thanks for giving FAWN a look. I know they appreciate it.
You know, I used to include the Youtube clips of entrances and moves but I’ve fallen off that. I definitely need to start doing that again.
Nice interview. I admire their ambition. But… it’s blind ambition if they thing They make the show. Hmmph!
Verrrrry nicely done boss. I feel the heat for sure!
Thanks! Glad you liked. XD
I like how they sidestepped the question entirely.
You don’t spend time with Yvonne Carmichael without learning a thing or two about public speaking.
Sun, Sun, Sun. You come SO far, but ….
It’s a great promo, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Sun promised Yvonne that she would get Sabrina into Damage Inc. Sabrina still thinks she’s a free agent tagging with her best friend, but I’m thinking that the locker room is starting to think differently. If Sun and Sabrina don’t have another “talk”, it’s going to blow up in their faces.
Also, Sabrina, Sun totally wanted the last word in that interview (Look at her hands in the last panel). *sigh*. They work so well together for a new team, but I got the feeling that the commish/Yvonne is protecting them from getting killed by Black and Blue. And they might have removed themselves from that protection. UltraDragon might be getting slayed shortly.
It definitely looks like Sabrina is a free agent tagging with her BFF. Maybe it is. Maybe it’s more. I think the answer will be dealt with by the end of the Bad Blood Pay-per-view, but expect to get a lot more tag team intrigue before the end of THIS chapter.
Ha: Ultradragon are very confident. This asks for a serious beatdown, but for who ha ha? So far we haven´t seen much in a serious match of the “World Champions”. Till now I only saw the male version. Surprised to find this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUP6Ic7hxC8
Black and Blue have a tough challenge this chapter with Victoria and Xtina. At least, it’s shaping up that way.
Wow: the VI is AWESOME :D!
No negativeness please about queen Krystin & The White Queen ha ha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW6ZprhH2pA ;-).
Glad you like! Hell’s Belles vs Damage Inc!!
Hehe, nobody seems to be better on the mic than Sun. She’s just got that in-your-face personality that seems to get everyone in the audience behind her
