SUMMERSLAM 2015/NXT Takeover Brooklyn
What did you guys make of this weekend’s PPV’s? I thought that Sasha vs Bayley was the very best match of the weekend (and best match period in a good long while) followed by Finn and Owens’s Ladder Match.
The finishes for the WWE Title Match and the Main event left a lot to be desired. I hated the finishes. Owens vs Cesaro was a great match.

Every team-up/meeting needs a common ground/foe, am I right ?
Absolutely. Vampire lesbian fan fiction doesn’t hurt either.
That’s a little dark!
More than Misty (Dark) would bring. !!
Whoa! She’s huge! And getting it done too. I’m sure those others deserve what they got.
And of course, what will she have to do with our heroines going forward?
Oh yeah? Well this is Still MY Ring!
Gotta agree with you, man. NXT Brooklyn was incredible. Summerslam, also good, though the finishes on some of the more high profile matches… Well, we know a lot of the big-name feuds are going to continue for a while, that’s for sure.
It seems like the worst thing in the world to the WWE main roster is to have a clean finish.
Well, I have to admit, that from a business perspective, they did the right thing. They made us want to watch the PPV, and when we watched it, we knew “Oh damn… they HAVE to have another match, and I have GOT to see that.”
We knew that Undertaker had to go over, but they wanted Brock to look strong, so therefore, we have this very inelegant solution of the timekeeper. My thing though is that Brock could’ve taken a clean loss without it hurting him.
What I didn’t like about that match is that it made the Undertaker look like a) he HAD to cheat to win, and b) he was WILLING to cheat to win. The Undertaker has had a long history, with lots of variations on the character, but before SummerSlam, the current version of the character was a mythic, nigh-unstoppable figure, and this whole thing brought him down in a big way.
