Chapter 02-Page 21-Standing Woman
Brenda took Sabrina’s best shot, the Ultrakick and is still standing! With Snow wrapped around Sabrina’s leg like a stubborn root, and Sun recovering, this is going to be a very rough stretch for Sabrina. Can she survive?

MONDAY NIGHT RAW
Dean has gotta be the biggest star right now, right? I wonder if that fact has people booing Roman so much. WWE has a problem, can they get Roman over by Wrestlemania?
The Dolph segment was interesting. I have to admit that my cynicism cautioned me to make much of it. Allegedly, Dolph is on the way out and plus, it’s Triple H. If people complained that Cena refused to drop to peeps, then Triple H shows why he’s the King of Kings. I guess Dolph looked good in a losing effort, but was the net result? To get fans to hate Roman even more?
Team Bad has a team finisher! Who knew? I thought it was great, but they still seem really far down the totem pole. Brie and Foxy looked good too and there was a nice exchange of moves there and with Brie dedicating that 2nd rope Nose Job to Lana. Normally, I love Lana but does she have a leg to stand on here? She’s not accomplished a single thing in the ring but charges up Brie and then Paige, both former champs? Weird, but I like her as an addition to Team BAD.
Hey, a Sami Zayne sighting!! Does this mean he’s on the main card? If so, he joins Dean as my favorite guys on the roster. This would please me.
Undertaker….says he’s not Vince’s puppet but then does exactly what Vince says? Strong logic there. Maybe Dolph comes and saves Shane in the WM match, but I have no idea at this point.
TOTAL DIVAS
A quick shout out for seeing Saraya Knight, aka Paige’s Mom last week on TOTAL DIVAS! Tracie and I totally marked out for it. 🙂
Irish freight trains coming. Just in time for St. Pats Day
Funny how these things tend to work out. XD
Sabrina should know better that a finisher works better when you weaken the opp enough for it, not just go right at it in 1 shot. Brenda is still at a 100% in the match & you can’t finish someone who is at 100% (unless your someone like Urlike, Kayla, Amanda, Kat, Brooke, Luna, Danielle, or Monster/Powerhouse based).
Besides in my eyes, The Ultra Dragons should be the ones dominating the match due to them being the real heels (Damage Inc with Yvonne at ringside), with Snowkitten being the on being worked over (like Sun was) then Brenda getting the hot tag…..OR Brenda being the Superheroine in peril. lamo
But this is a SABRINA STORYLINE, SO!!!!!!! lol
Well, it’s an UPSTARTS or even Sun and Sabrina storyline. It’s noteworthy that Sabrina has dropped everyone she’s every tagged with the Ultrakick. Brenda still standing, not woozy is telling.
I’m not sure that Ultradragon are heels. Have they done anything Heel-y? I think you could consider them whatever NEW DAY is, Roadblock PPV forward but in this instance, they’re not fighting heels.
I suppose it’s open to interpretation, which is what I was going for. I love blurring the lines especially in Pro Wrestling where the lines are usual pretty distinct.
I would consider Ultra Dragons like The Social Outcasts who WWE uses as both Faces & Heels but depending who they face. But since both Sun & Sabrina are within Damage Inc, I do consider them HEELS due to who they are allied with.
Yvonne got creative with the rules once, and apart from that, there hasn’t been much “heel” behavior from Damage, Inc. On the other hand, the Catgirls have been exploitative and manipulative, and Brenda’s been playing the role of unstoppable rage-beast, effectively making our protagonists the underdogs. Apart from that, their most notable trait is that they stay in the skybox with Gabrielle. Remember the whole “Locker Room vs Ivory Skybox” angle? Brenda and the Catgirls are the in-ring representatives of an Authority-style heel stable, from our standpoint as readers.
Maybe the in-character audience doesn’t see that, but we, the readers of the comic, get to see the behind-the-scenes action. The dichotomy between who the audience thinks they should cheer for and who they don’t, and who is actually a good person and who isn’t, is one of the best things about this comic. Putting the characters in boxes like you’re doing misses the point entirely.
In the world of true wrestling, Damage Inc are the real Heel Stable due to constant cheating of stealing the title & cheating to keep the title. To me, that is HEELS….not faces. But in your world, people like The Wyatts & Kevin Owens are heroic faces & Daniel Bryan is the worlds most hated wrestler. Off camera actions are just that off camera!!! If that was true, the Hogan & Benoit would be a heels & Vince would be a hero, but that’s not the case.
I feel like I’ve done a poor job if you are comparing Sun and Sabrina to the Wyatts and Kevin Owens. That said, if you really believe that, and not saying that you do but if you did, I don’t know that I could convince you to the contrary.
Sun & Sabrina aren’t Owens or Wyatts but what I am saying is that heel lovers find ways to reason their actions. Its like the heel lovers would easily call Roman Reigns a MASSIE HEEL for what he did to Triple H even though not only Triple H screw Roman over with Sheamus & his League of Nation (easily resembles Brenda getting screwed by Yvonne & her Damage Inc) but then Triple H screwing Roman out of his title at the RR. But now all of a sudden Roman is the major heel because he busted Triple H open & kicked his ass badly.
To me, Sun is a heel because she even said so but Sabrina is more of a Betweener They are like when Matt Hardy & MVP formed that face/heel tag team https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=queou3IAKEY or how Cena teamed with Miz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-zA8gUHsOg.
But the problem is that Sabrina is within Damage Inc who are a Heel Stable, it’s like if Sabrina joined Helles Belles since they too are a heel stable. Yvonne cheated her way to get the title then cheated her way to keep it & yet the Heel Lovers claim Brenda is the heel. That is what I mean by them calling The Wyatts & Owens as faces & Daniel & Cena as heels.
Correction on the Cena/Miz video, its more like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NYO2rxa_7M
Blitz is just trolling you, Luis 😉
Still not sure Luis isn’t trolling us all.
I am not a troll, besides I am way to small (5’4″) & way to skinny (150) to be a troll. I am just a loyal fan of the babyface wrestlers who don’t cheat (Yvonne & Damage Inc). I understand Blitz is a Heel Lover, thus I fight for the faces. lol
You appear to be such a fan of babyface wrestlers and a hater of heels that your loyalty prevents you from seeing when a change happens or when things aren’t so black-and-white. Study some literature and psych, man. Complexity and ambiguity improve stories.
It’s like this really. I am old school, its what ever is in front of the camera that matters & not unseen backstage politics. Mostly because if that’s the case, then we would have the upper brash with power like Orton, Sheamus, Undertaker, HBK, Cena, & so on as the heels with the wrestlers being held back like Ziggler, Wyatt, Cesaro, Sandow, & so on as the faces. But that’s not the case as the main focus is what ever is in front of the camera.
So with Damage Inc being the heel stable (cheating to get & keep title) & Brenda being the face (the woman who got screwed over & will do anything to get back what was stolen like Roman Reigns did or Daniel Bryan did). But again, I see Sabrina is a stuck Betweener due to her fighting under the rules (haven’t seen her cheat really) YET is under the alliance of Damage Inc (Heel Stable), with Sun already claiming to be a heel due to her already actions within DI. But again, we see things differently like how you would believe in Lawler ideal of AJ Styles being a heel compared to Y2J because the fans flocked to him then the returning Jericho but Jericho is the true heel due to him attacking AJ after losing a tag match with him.
Why do Sabrina and Sun have to tag each other and fight alone, while the other two are both in the ring and fighting at the same time? How can one hold Sabrina while the other attacks? And if that’s how it’s being played now, wouldn’t Sun mix in?
Because Snow and Brenda are the heels. Their fans may deny it, but actions speak louder than words and have for a long time. Using personal information to embarrass an opponent. Brutally attacking someone who was only trying to help you not make a terrible mistake. It’s obvious to anyone who cares to be honest with themselves who are the heels and who are the faces here, and heels always get away with double teaming in wrestling. It’s tradition. 🙂
Don’t listen to him, he is DRUNK! Mostly because the referee can’t get the match under the rules. The UltraDragons are the real heels (Damage Inc are heel stable, not Faces).
Besides every tag team match always has all 4 members in the ring near the end, no matter what side your on. Also the referee is never really seen when all 4 are in until the real ending is revealed.
Luis, are you meta-level heel commentating, or do you actually believe that the babyface/heel distinction is meaningful in this context? It can be hard to gauge sincerity here.
There is almost always a face/heel factor. Here it is blurred. But you can not deny the Dinks are heels.
As a practical matter the Catgirls and I are tweeners. We won’t start breaking the rules but we won’t let it go very far unpunished. Generally they open Pandora’s box when that happens.
Excuses and justifications, Brenda. Just like a heel. 🙂
So I’m a heel, a man who LOVES Cena, Hogan (80’s), Sting, Rey, RVD, Yes era Daniel, Steamboat, Tito Santana, & Ultimate Warrior. REALLY!?!?!
Trust me Blitz & Steiner, you two are THE MEGA HEELS. Again Damage Inc are a HEEL STABLE & Brenda is a FACE since she fought HEELS (Widow, Chloe, Katherine, Yvonne, & so on). Also, Sabrina even said it herself that she was a heel with Sun, so PLEASE!!!!
lmao
You two are nothing more but Heel JBL & Lawler & I’m Byron Braxton. Hell, I see you two as Triple H & Vince compared to my Teddy Long…. Halla Halla! lol
JBL? Lawler? Vince? Triple H? I resent that.
Now if you on the other hand had said Bobby Heenan or Jesse Ventura I would have put you on my christmas card list. 😉
Sorry, I guess you like to be OLD! lmao
OK then, your Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Blitz is Jessie The Body” Ventura, & I’m Gorilla Monsoon. I HATE VINCE! lol
If you’re new to a specific wrestling show, do you know how to go about figuring out which announcer is the heel? He’s the one ignoring, rationalizing, or celebrating heel behavior.
Congratulations, buddy. That’s you.
NO, Gorilla Monsoon was always on the heroes side while The Brain sucked up to heels & The Body was just as arrogant as The Model & The Ravishing One. So I’m The Hero within a sandwich of Heels! lol
“Oh my God! Jannetty tried to dive through the barber shop window to escape! What an act of cowardice!”
Rationalizing heel behavior is what heel announcers do.
The Catgirls play dirty. They extort personal information about their competition to reveal on television, in addition to the standard fare of doubleteaming and dirty tricks. I like them well enough, but they’re heels at the moment, because they’re being written as engaging in heel behavior. Brenda, while the victim of one heel strategy, went rage-monster and attacked someone who didn’t deserve it. Her friends and closest business associates are currently being written as extremely unscrupulous, and she’s supporting them. And in this match, she’s continuing to play the part of unstoppable rage-monster, making Ultradragon the underdogs.
Meanwhile, the worst you can say about Sabrina and Sun is that they change in Yvonne’s locker room.
Ultradragon has the babyface role right now. Maybe outside this storyline Brenda and the Catgirls aren’t heels, but at this moment, in this situation, they definitely are. You’re the one making excuses for them, so that makes you… JBL. (You don’t rate Heenan.)
You blaming Brenda by the way she is due to having her title STOLEN TWICE from her is the same way as calling Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan major league heels due to The Authority cheating them from their titles (Sheamus & HHH on Roman/Orton on Bryan).
Your straight out saying……
“Look at what that bastard heelish prick Roman Reigns did to an innocent loving father, providing husband, & beloved boss of the world in Triple H. That criminal busted Triple H open after HHH kindly gave him a few days off to recover from a terrible headache (which HHH caused).
When faces are cheated from what is rightfully theirs due to a underhanded & cheating tactic (not smart or intelligent like you claim), then to again be cheated out again due to cheating, all faces would do what Brenda did (Roman did it, Cena did it, Austin did it, Rock didi it, Daniel did it, & so on).
Also The Ultra Dragons are not the ultimate faces in the story. If I really had to pick a true face, I would honestly pick Veronica Silver or Shannon McCourt. Again, Sun herself said “She was a Heel” since she allied herself with Damage Inc all the while doing heelish tactics (Fire, Mist, Choking, Outside help by Kyra & Nikki). Sabrina was face but allied with Damage inc, so she is a Betweener because she still plays by the rules YET allied with a HEEL STABLE. So really she would be like AJ Styles during his stable run with Ric Flair’s TNA stable along side Bobby Roode (Heel), James Storm (Heel), Chris Daniels (Heel), & Kaz (Heel).
Also, I am no way like JBL (5’4″, 150″, Puerto Rican American) so really I am either Matt Striker, Byron Saxton, or The Spanish Announcer Team who are ALWAYS getting their table destroyed (mostly by you & Steiner). lol
Actually, because the ref is supposed to allow for 5 second count for teammates to swap but in the hustle and bustle that can get lost. As for heel/face factor, Sabrina wishes she could be one but she’s far from it. Sun and Kitten have no issue bending the rules. And Brenda? Right now I think Bren feels justified considering how Damage Inc screwed her out of her belt. Sabrina’s about to become collateral again. Girl, you and I need to hit a spa so you can chill.
Sun just took a beating, or she’d be out there helping her BFF out. As it is, she’s struggling to stay up on the apron.
The Ref IS there but the teams have a 5 count to get in and out which is more than enough time to get some double teaming in. On top of that, it’s referee discretion on how FAST they count and Rival Angels referee’s give some leeway with that 5 count.
Cardinal mistake when fighting Brenda: Never go for her head. She doesn’t keep anything important there.
I’m Scots/Irish. You… you’re just dense 😉
You’re half scotch and half soda
Sounds like one of your fave recipes. Just rap up aside your head for the bitter 😀
Sabrina will have to go lower. XD
0.o
Damage Inc or no, that seems un-Sabrina-ish.
Of course now that you’ve said that, I’ll be disappointed if she DOESN’T, but still…
Watch it you. I know where you live. And I have Paddy and Guido on speed dial. Or… I could just let the Catgirls in…
I’m still hoovering up fur from the last time you did that!
Chew her up slowly, Brenda, and poop her out.
Lovely mental image. Thanks for that…
Don’t accidentally dream about it!!
Crafty move by the Kitten. Root Sabrina’s foot, keep her from fully committing to the kick, make sure she can’t follow up, even if she was psychologically prepared to. Even then, though, Brenda, taking that hit with a smile… Yikes.
That kick was a specialty of mine, back in my teen years. Thinking about dusting it off, polishing it up… I’m getting the flexibility back, and my legs are three times as strong now. Could be fun, now that I’m doing some cross training, reintegrating some old tricks…
No doubt about it, Ultradragon and specifically Sabrina is in trouble.
Cool! With all that extra training, I bet that kick would be wicked.
I guess Sabrina never heard what they’ve said about putting your best foot forward. Either that, or Brenda’s been hiding the fact that she’s part Samoan from us, and can shake off shots to the head like they’re nothing.
Raw was… odd. That’s the best way I can think of to describe it.
Lana… I don’t even think the writers know what the hell they’re doing with her. She’s trying to pull the “I’m classy European, looking down at the American” card, but comes out to matches in her old Rock Groupie outfits she wore when her and Dolph Ziggler were supposed to be a thing. She mocks Paige saying that hanging around with Americans has made her weak, but now she’s buddy buddy with Tamina and Naomi, a couple of Americans. I’m at a loss, and while I’ve never much been a Bella Fella, I think Brie certainly deserves better than to be left lying in the ring constantly from Lana.
Triple H vs Dolph Ziggler… not much to say here that wasn’t obvious in the match. Dolph can be told “Go out there and put over an imaginary wrestler” and he could, and make it look convincing, the guy’s just that good of a worker.
Triple H… I go back and forth with. I mean, I know the guy’s got an ego, I know the guy’s always trying to get more spotlight for himself. He sees his best friend, Shawn Michaels have two career defining and spectacular matches against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, so he wants to do it too, and lets face it, the Triple H/Taker series wasn’t as good as the HBK/Taker series. Then you look at the work he’s doing running NXT and you go “Wow, this guy can produce a great show when he wants to!” So I know the guy can run a good show when he wants to, and when Vince isn’t vetoing everything he puts forth. So I’m actually looking forward to when he might actually run things, instead of just act like he does with this Authority gimmick.
Roman Reigns’ problem is that he’s the right guy at the wrong time. The fans were just getting excited that Cena was going to be out of the big main event picture (Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Cena) and they thought there was going to be new blood coming in with Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, hell, Roman might have even been more well-accepted if they gave him a different gimmick. But they pushed him as the guy we’re supposed to like. The big, powerful, but nice guy with the movie star good looks that Vince has been putting belts on since the 80s. The fans hated him out of pure contrariness and the fact that they were bored with it. And unfortunately, even with the out of character mugging he laid down on Triple H on Monday, I don’t know if he’ll be able to bounce back from it.
Add Neville to the WWE’s Long list of injuries, thanks to a broken ankle and shinbone. Just what everyone needs.
For the Vince/Taker/Shane line… I’m again back and forth with it. I mean, it makes no sense to just pull the Undertaker in out of nowhere, and even less sense for us to believe that Shane is an actual threat to beating him. Now that’s not saying Shane isn’t good. Hell, he’s probably the most athletic and dare-devil out of the whole McMahon family. Just look at his SummerSlam 2000 match against Steve Blackman, his streetfight against Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2001, and his entire series against Kane. I do think he’s got a plan, though. Losing battles to win the war, as it were. We see that Taker doesn’t like Vince going around acting like he’s controlling Taker, but Shane’s going out there in front of everyone and showing that’s exactly what’s going on, trying to weaken Taker’s willingness to do what Vince wants him to. Simba might eat a chokeslam every now and then, but he’s looking to erode away his opponent’s resolve by attacking the man’s pride.
And saving the Best for Last… Dean Ambrose is always a psychotic delight to watch. Back when the SHEILD was a thing, I wasn’t sure about him, knowing Seth Rollins’ skills from watching him in the Indies as Tyler Black, and I enjoyed Roman Reigns’ explosive power. But now the guy’s one of my favorites on the roster. And they’re playing him off now as “Crazy like a fox… but still crazy.” We all knew the guy was nuts for calling Brock down to the ring, but no one thought he was smart enough to be packing a crowbar until he pulled it out. And Mick Foley giving him the barbed wire bat was most definitely the highlight of the match.
Pacific Islanders, Samoan or otherwise, have nothing on Scots/Irish.
I actually decided to try skipping RAW to record a couple of other things instead. Full Frontal is a hoot, like the old Colbert but with more bite. And RAW hasn’t needed 3 hours of air time since forever. But this is just a test; we’ll see. If my DVR could record more that 2 shows at a time I’d still catch RAW.
Samoans have hard heads. The Irish have empty ones.
I’m on board with all that you’ve written here.
Completely agree that Brie deserves better, even if she’s rumored to be on the way out. Also, pick a direction for Lana and let her go already.
Dolph was considered one of the hardest working workers period at one time. His matches with Alberto were pretty great. Concussions sidetracked that and now he’s rumored to be leaving and therefore, in Job-town until the end.
I think as heavy as Triple H has been pushed his entire career, he ought to be bigger than the Rock and Stone Cold combined. The fact that he truly believes he’s doing others a favor as he burying them is mind boggling.
With Roman, it’s a bit like Lana. Didn’t know what to do with the guy. He worked as being the quiet destroyer in the SHIELD. The crowd booing him is sadder than the crowd booing Cena.
Poor Neville. Did you see there was a video that put in the captioning of the argument between Jericho and Little Natch? Many F-bombs, which Charles has already apologized for.
Shane is a good bump machine, the fall from the titan tron and the Van-Terminator come to mind but I don’t know at his age about a match with the Undertaker at Hell in the Cell. I mean, does he plan on going off the cage ala Foley?
When Dean was in the SHIELD I knew he had the best mic skills and that’s really half the battle in getting over. I predict that WWE will do him like Daniel Bryan. Keep him down until the crowd boils over and they have to at least acknowledge it.
Yeah, but with Dolph leaving, that’s another mind-boggling thing. I mean, Barrett’s on his way out the door as well, and he and the LON are getting pushed to win the Tag Team Belts. I mean, sure he’s part of a faction and they could keep the belts after he’s gone, but I just don’t feel Barrett’s done as much for the WWE in-ring that Ziggler has. I will grant you that it’s not all Barrett’s fault, though. He just seems to have Ahmed Johnson’s Disease. You know, the one that causes injuries to happen just as you start picking up momentum in anything
Barrett feels kind of like a placeholder. He’s not really doing anything, certainly not wrestling Triple H. That’s a shame because I think he had a ton of potential coming out of the Nexus and that big feud with Cena. Not saying it’s Cena’s fault but look at Barrett, Ryback, and Shamus after their heel turn after not becoming the next Cena. Plus, Barrett was always getting hurt. 😛
I don’t know if this stuff with Zigler is a good thing or not. It’s just hard to read it. I mean, what happens to him now? Does he even have a match at Wrestlemania?
Jericho’s increasingly frequent returns have often been a bit underwhelming, but he’s been good in the matches with Styles, and he was really on the ball Monday. When the pinfall didn’t happen he immediately shoved the ref to get the DQ finish. Gets his character over as a jerk and let him do the mic stuff which allowed for AJ to run in like I assume he was supposed to anyway. Quick thinking there.
Yep, but he didn’t seem happy about it, as the F-bombs went back and forth with Jericho and Robinson. The best bit is that it still worked Kayfabe and really, that’s the important thing. XD
I’d rather Brie was feuding with someone like Lana and stay away from matches with people like Becky or Sasha. Watching those two job to the ‘lesser Bella’ was painful.
I agree with letting Brie and Lana go at it and leave Becky and Sasha to fight at the top of the Divas division but don’t forget that Brie was on a crazy good roll until she was buried, Triple H style by Stephanie at Summerslam 2 years ago. :/
I think they were pissed off because they didn’t want Daniel Bryan to be as popular as he was, but since he was out with that neck injury, they decided to bury his wife/girlfriend to attack him. I think they’ll keep playing nice with D.Bryan, but they’ll always be underhanded with it because they resent the fact that control was taken from them because he was so insanely over with the fans. And now that he’s retired, they can’t pull another “Royal Rumble 2015” with him, so they’re going after his wife again.
Anyone can have a winning streak when it is booked. But I didn’t see any matches that made me go “whoa!” like Becky and Sasha’s.
Great what an underhanded tactics from the opposing team. Sabrina is in for a major smackdown to the ground. 🙁
Sabrina’s between a Kitten and a Big Boot!
A massive, enormous one.
Also shes’s got big feet.
That hurts coming from Callie Kadiddlehopper Clementine
Is there a ref in that ring somewhere?
Yep, he’s staying out of the way and giving the ladies a bit of latitude.
Ouch! That hurt, but Sabrina’s got some change coming. Hold tight, Snow!
Wicked good art, boss!
Thanks!! Glad you like. Wait til you see the next page!
no snowy that’s not how you do an ankle lock! 😉 though the almost as deadly LEGBAR! looks to be enough to put brina in trouble here.
brina did forget finishers work best if the opponent is weakened like several have said. it’s like the first kane/taker match at wrestlemania. kane tombstones taker maybe 1 minute into the match and other than the shock value of taker getting hit with his own finisher it wasn’t that big a surprise when he kicked out (the second and third ones he hit him with later were a different story mind you)
and at least Brenda doesn’t appear to be in need of a dentist given the added force of staying upright instead of rolling with the hit and going down. but don’t worry brina fans- sun will be flying in to save the day any second now…yup, just you wait and see…aaaaaany minute now… (crickets)
You might be overestimating the recovery skills of the Lil Dragon, sneaky ninja that she is.
Sabrina saw an opening and took a shot. Can’t say she missed, but certainly not as effective as she would’ve liked.
Ultradraggin’ needs a win. I hope they get one here. Otherwise, we get a new plot point in which the Boss may pull their ticket for losing.
Gabrielle put them together as a form of punishment for not going along with the ‘greater good’ of the company. I’m not so sure that she’d split them up because they lost Brenda and Snowy. But, you never can tell what’s going to happen!
Yep. They really need more seasoning as a tag team. Hopefully, they’ll get it.
Oh, bossman… are we ever going to see a new VI? It’s been a bit.
Maybe after the Kickstarter campaign? Truth be told, I love doing it and it’s a great way to support the series, but it’s a lot of work (way more than it seems it should) and the support really isn’t there.
Sabrina’s face in panel four tells the whole story. What do you do when your opponent takes your very best shot like it was nothing, and then SMILES? Brenda’s about to go full Bork Laser on poor ‘Brina.
Yay! That’s what I was shooting for. 😉
Knew Sabrina should have loaded that boot more before the match. Best bet is to try and break snows nose with some well placed heels to her two face, have Sabrina loose that tone of dead weight on her leg. Hope sun doesn’t take too long to recover. Wondering what kind of freak Brenda is to take that stiff a kick and have it not even phase her!
I agree allot with what Donny was saying, just to add a few things though.
Looks like the theme of this past Monday’s Raw was “contradiction,” say it with me kids. We got Lana still playing her Americans suck angle while teaming with said Americans. Undertaker saying he’s not Vince’s puppet while still doing everything Vince says like one. And roman reigns giving the second most hated man in wwe a beat down and getting booed. Shows that there writing is so bad they don’t even know which way is up anymore. That bad writing, there top talent ether leaving or having careear ending injuries, and Vince not even having enough common sense to push there new blood is what will lead to the decline and end of WWE. Now if there were only another wresiling company that could challenge them, we could get something worth while. I’d say Impact wresiling, but they have gone down some themselves. That and I have no clue what there even doing now that they switched to POP. Lucha underground perhaps? They have fantastic wrestlers, great matches, even better stories, the fact that its in seasons is a bit of a drawback but at least they don’t have to scramble every week thinking of or rehashing ideas.
Another thing I’d like to bring up is John Cena. Not shore if he really is on the way out or not but it would ex plane his new reality TV show and the Facebook post I read about him blowing the horn on WWE’s secret on making muscle jacked wrestlers in just a month. Not steroids but they do take a tone of supplements. Which may ex plane the increase of injuries as of late.
What makes you think the kick was so great? She was rushed. Timing was off. She overextended or got stuffed. Buy the DVD and analyse it. Hey, buy five and give them to your friends! 😀
“What makes me think the kick was so great?” Ether the big Adam west batman “Krak,” or the verbal anguish coming out of you’re mouth. You’re choice.
What’s this about a DVD?
This particular Ultrakick wasn’t as effective because she forgot to slap her thigh. 😉
I was going to say that she didn’t tune up the band by stomping her foot before launching it. XD
My my Brenda, panel 5 & 6 are priceless. It would be something if you ultra kick back LOL.
And that is why Sabrina has a long way to go to become the John Cena of Rival Angels. Right now, she’s about to become the Ricky Morton of Rival Angels. Or that’s just Brenda no-selling Sabrina V1.1 like she no-sells life. I smell new finisher…
Note to self: Brenda’s head is more solid than Brina’s boot.
Or just more thick.
It can definitely take a shot.
Well when it come to tag team, team work is important and I’m not Sure that Sabrina and Sun have gotten it all down yet. I will be very surprised if Sun doesn’t pop into the ring for the 4 person mix up that baffles the ref. As for the ref maybe he is busy telling Sun to stay of the ring…
HA! That is probably what the ref is doing, in classic Tag Team Referee logic. Though I believe Zach is the referee and he’s usually on the ball.
