8 Woman Tag
The usual stuff as many women into a tag match so they all get some time. Paige was a non-factor and Charlotte rapid tapping means she’s going to keep her belt at Payback, despite Bret being in Nattie’s corner. Poor Jim.
With the Dudley’s, you ever notice that Bubba Ray’s gear is more faded than D’Von’s? Bubba’s been washing it too much.
Jericho and Sami, I liked this despite the continued jobbing of beloved Sami. Also, has Sami EVER pinned anyone with a Blue Thunder Bomb?
Apollo vs Heath and Social Outcasts. I thought the obvious choice was to make Apollo ‘join’ Social Outcast, as a fish out of water thing, while also giving the Outcasts the rub. Silly me.
The opening talk segment was actually enjoyable considering it didn’t have Triple H, Vince or Stephanie for the first time in forever. It was fresh, fun and set up some good feuds.
The segment with Karl and Luke attacking Roman makes me think that either AJ joins up with them to reform the Bullet Club, or they turn on AJ at Payback. It’d be a shame to see them turn on one of their own. 🙁
Dean vs Kevin Owens. Not sure what to say because those guys continually bring it.
Get a room you two.

I keep pulling for Natie, I really do. I say have both Bret and Jim in her corner. The Original Hart Foundation.
Dudleys… I won’t be surprised if they make their presence known in the finals of the tag team tournament. But lets face it, Enzo and Big Cass are showing they can get it done on the main roster. Vaudevillains, that was a surprise, and they had to sort of say “Well, the Usos were hurt from last week.” So I don’t know how much they’re banking on English and Gotch
Sami, I don’t know what they’re trying to do with him, but damn if he isn’t great to watch in the ring. And Jericho (Cool dad persona aside) knows how to work matches with him. This means nothing but great matches to watch.
Creed vs the Outcasts… I think they’re just looking to hype Creed up against people he can just squash and really show off the lengths of his skills. Just a good thing he got Adam Rose out of the way first. I will say that hanging out with the Outcasts would have helped develop his charisma, that’s for sure.
Bullet Club… I don’t know if they’re trying to turn AJ heel, or have Anderson and Gallows turn on him too… either way, I don’t think it’s going to have the desired effect of making Roman the hero to fend of this new NWO style threat

Ambrose, Sami, AJ and Owens are the brightest spots of RAW for me, personally. And I’m happy to say that I don’t think I’m alone in that. 🙂 Jericho in that mix does NOT hurt.
I keep pulling for Nattie, but I know better. She’s a warm body until Sasha takes the belt at SummerSlam. And that’s all fine, but I don’t feel like I can get personally invested. Jim and Bret WOULD be pretty epic.
Overall, I like where the tag team division is going and I wouldn’t be surprised if I heard that the Usos beat the Vaudevillains on Smackdown. I am hoping for Enzo and Cass to win the thing, but I can’t imagine that they’ll challenge the New Day. So who does that leave to face New Day?
Having that weird stip with Apollo and the Outcasts and not do anything with it is in the same weird vein that allows Shane McMahon to run RAW even though he lost to Undertaker.
The fans want a Bullet Club reunion so of course, we won’t get it. I’m horribly cynical. 😛
Can’t blame you for being cynical. We’re still stuck with Roman Reigns for instance. Sad thing is I don’t hate him. Just hate what wwe has done with him. And we know stipulations mean jack these days in wrestling. :p
That said, holding out hope for some kind of Bullet Club reunion along with Balor added to the mix.
Also, part of me still has to remind myself from time to time that Sami Zayn was El Generico. >>
I happen to like Roman. Part of me doesn’t like what they’re doing with him….shoving him down the collective throats of the audience, but I don’t think he deserves the heat he’s getting either. Messy, even.
I fear Sami will go down the path that Becky is currently walking. Too over as a babyface to get a title, or even a winning streak.
I’ll try to optimistic about the Bullet Club, but man, the E isn’t making it easy. XD
Nice twist sometimes you just need that one moment or shock to snap out of your blues. I’m glad Ultradragon is going to continue on fighting for the belt.
Let hope this recent loss doesn’t set them back.
Ultradragon are still in the top 5 in the division but they’ll have to work if they want a chance at the Tag Team titles. The maddening thing is that they have a win over the champs, so they want another shot.
Well maybe next time they can fight Black & Blue, they will be much easier to defeat.
So Albone still trying to keep us off balanced?

I like how brina’s expression in panel 2 is all “no sun i’m not going along with your idea to break up the team so there!”
charlotte’s just using magnus’ logic “title’s not on the line so why try to fight it out and get hurt for the real title match when it matters” with the quick tap. wish he turns up somewhere again, he generally had common sense most of the time for a wrestler.
paige is probably going to get into trouble soon for her ecent quotes about having no clue what she’s supposed to be right now, face or heel or total woman er diva (notice it was a 8 WOMAN tag match?)
bubba’s gear probably got the extra washing from his aces and 8s and singles push while d’von only popped in here and there, so less laundry time needed.
shane’s really has to get his lines down better though. you have 2 faces and 2 heels in the ring together after interrupting each other, all feuding so what do you do? summon your inner teddy long and have ourselves a tag team match playa! NOOOOOOO shane makes two singles matches- man you’d think he’d know this stuff better than that by now 😉 I mean CESARO figured it out when LoN came out.

as for bullet club- A & G come out of the crowd to cost AJ the title but wait it’s Finn Balor coming out to rescue AJ against Anderson and gallows- but wait again, Finn turns during the staredown and attacks AJ, 3 on 1 beat down. Reign yawns and figures out new tones of voice to try out for Mondays “not a good guy, not a bad guy, but the guy” promo after he keeps the belt by DQ loss. AJ/Finn w/ Bullet club feud from there? cause AJ ain’t winning the belt.

I was surprised too that we didn’t see a tag match between Owens and Jericho and Sami and Ambrose, especially after the way Jericho and Owens were clutching each other as they were driven away.
Paige was criminally unused especially for being in London. Come on!! I, at least expected her to take the pinfall. 😛
AJ is NOT winning the belt but nice to see him in the world title picture. As for the Bullet Club…man, I don’t know. I hope it’s cool, but my crazy thought is that the Bullet Club would come in with more heat then just about any other stable in the company, and the E can’t have that.

There’s a lot of give and take with those two that they’d never consider for anyone else, but that’s why they get along so well. And really, Sabrina’s not going to stop being a ruin-er any time soon.
For once, I’m concerned about Krystin. She hasn’t won much in favors for the past several pages, but man she looked depressed. Glad that the little drama with Sun and Sabrina is at least over (I think). Just waiting for the moment they eventually become vampire lesbians…
