205 – Evasion
By the skin of her teeth, Sabrina escapes any further injury from Hell’s Belles. They had her down but she did just enough, namely psych out De Sade with the threat of an Ultrakick to make her escape. Sabrina’s up for a challenge, but three (with weapons) to one are not good odds. The Belles are hot at the loss of the tournament match and the opportunity loss of laying a beating on someone post-match. Sabrina was even able to throw a verbal barb De Sade’s way. Probably doesn’t equal all of the double team cheating and after match beatdown, but it’s enough for Sabrina. And, this is probably not the last time Sabrina runs across the Hell’s Belles.
As we can see from the last panel though, Sabrina’s not out of the fire yet. Any ideas on who the mystery person calling out Sabrina is? A new challenger maybe?
Thank goodness Sabrina managed to escape a beatdown from Hell’s Belles. Now, time to rest up and into more of the backstage dramas. Hopefully this won’t take too long and we could go back to the in-ring action as soon as possible.
Wow, this is nicely done. Of course Sabrina is going to be more active after taking out the two lower-ranked Hell’s Belles, but I really thought that there was going to be a crack or two from the Kendo stick. Mind you, I think that it is a bit over-rated as far as weapons go. It stings like crazy, and makes a hellaciously loud crack, but one or two shots shouldn’t really devastate. What makes it nasty is how FAST it is.
I didn’t quite get what Sabrina was doing in the second frame until I read the commentary. A feigned Ultrakick is an excellent way to keep away a canny Mistress of Mayhem, such as Chloe de Sade. UltraGirl then shows smarts by bailing when she has the chance. I think she shows a lack of smarts by taunting the Hell’s Belles on her way out. The Belles, de Sade in particular, are an enemy that will come back to haunt her. (At least they would if I were booking storylines)
Who is the mystery voice? My guess is that it’s one of her friends coming to congratulate her.
Can it be? did I get a post in before M.G.C.???
I think it’s probably Lorna or Sabrina’s mentor.
heheh! right Zodo.. you did post before me.. heheh..
Many questions in this episodes.
I really have to question on the Hell’s Belles. “Powergirl” Katherine Smith and Jennifer Needles. Jennifer got hit by a ranhei then whispering the wind, then still standing. also Katherine Smith, still standing. both Katherine and Jennifer fall for only 5 seconds then got up and ready to fight.. unbelievable durability I say. when compare “Powergirl” Katherine Smih and Jennifer Needles to “Latina Chick” Loretta Diaz. Loretta is out, and didn’t got strenght to retaliate in episode 114-115. while Katherine and Jennifer got hits every moves by “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini got up and want to fight! unbelievable! That’s why Hell’s Belles is my favorite! yeah!!
I really have to question panel 2. Why “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini didn’t ultrakick “White Queen” Chloe De Sade? it’s really mind boggling “Kirikirimai!”
Panel 3: I really say! Good work! “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, bailing out! that’s great, not putting her ego on up! Logically correct mind. while Chloe is trying to intimidate Sabrina, if possible she’ll get back it. As usually human phych!
last panel: “Ultragir” Sabrina Mancini, I think she’s still but shock or chilled what she’d done, maybe fear of future consequences. remember “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini won against the Hell’s Belles. I’m commenting on “Whew! man that was so close” could it be that somewhere inside “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini, she still fear of the Hell’s Belles?
Â
Mystery Person?
a. Angel Soprano
b. Xtina Carpenter..
I love you Sabrina :DÂ XoXoX
Commenting on the kendo stick… remember that this particular one is wrapped in barbed wire. Also remember that many weapons in wrestling are built around the idea that they make a big noise but if used properly don’t really do a lot of damage. In the case of the ol’ standby the steel chair, you try to get them on the back, or if there’s a shot to the head the person who gets hit protects themselves with their hands. That said, there are actual unprotected chair shots directly to the head… and yes those do hurt, and no, wrestlers really shouldn’t be taking them and do anyway.
The mystery voice? Yeah, that’s me.
I don’t know what’s coming on the next Monday night Meltdown.. but usually Heels, in most wrestling, will come out at the beginning of the show, and maybe demand something. maybe a the Hell’s Belles will sit on the first minute show of the next monday night meltdown, in the words “Hell’s Belles won’t leave the ring, unless demands have been made.” something like that.
or keep on interfering matches, or maybe locker room assaults. Locker room assualt won’t be going to the upstart girls locker, maybe to the other lockers. to Pysch out “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini.. or maybe hostage situation.
Â
a funny situation, is that when “GoDDess Aphrodite” Brooke Lennox went back to the Hell’s Belles locker room. Chloe, Katherine and Jennifer will take Brooke as hostage.. something like that..
Â
another follow up Q..
Â
Last Panel: where is that located? ah? backstage area? somewhere…
Â
I have another guess, who is the mystery angel..
Â
Maybe it’s “Latina Chick” Loretta Diaz.. hehehe
Â
I can really say! Hell’s Belles are cool!!
Hey ps2kid, I’m glad you enjoyed the update, specifically, Sabrina escaping further harm! Backstage drama? Definitely coming. XD
Ah Zodo, posting nice and early. 😀 It wasn’t for a lack of trying that the kendo stick didn’t get used. I don’t think Sabrina will be able psyche her way out of that situation again, assuming Chloe brings it back. As for Sabrina taunting the Belle’s, well, it probably isn’t a smart move but she’s excited and as you can see by the last panel, she was playing it up a little for the crowd.
Very good guesses, Picky! I promise we’ll find out who it is on Wednesday.
Hey MGC! I think Sabrina punking out Chloe was more dramatic than actually laying her out. Not to mention, Chloe is recoiling. If Chloe kept on the attack, then Sabrina would’ve been able to hit the Ultrakick cleanly. Sabrina’s apprehension at the last panels is because she took on the Hell’s Belles in a TV tournament match and won, and also kept her head intact. She knows that it could’ve went the other way pretty easily, but you probably won’t here her come out and say that. 😛 Great guesses on who’s calling out Ultragirl. The last panel does show the backstage area. I think it’s normally called ‘elephant,’ but I have no idea why. And as far as the next Monday Night Meltdown, you’ll be very interested in how it starts off. 😉
Svan, I’m thrilled you’re happy with Sabrina and the update. 🙂
Well said, Adon. Additionally, I hear that many wrestlers hurt their hands when they put them up, and that they should lean into the chairshot, because the front of your head is one of the hardest areas on your body. Kind of like Balls Mahony does. Yeesh, he takes a scary chairshot.
Shhh Riki, it’s a surprise! 😛
OK, so I was wrong. It’s a Kendo Stick, not a magic wand. Either way, it didn’t do de Sot much good. As for taunting the Beverly Hell Bellies, if you’re going to get the snot beat out of you anyway, you might as well look tough while you can. Hard to believe they’d call Sabrina a coward for not staying in the ring with the three mouse-keteers – I think staying would qualify as “Brooking” your career, but at least you’d get your name on the “Moron of the Week†plaque.
Sabrina not just a great wrestler but smart and clever, too. She know whats going on.
Sabrina was smart, quick, and lucky enough to get the hell out of there and escape the beatdown, but Hell’s Belles are not just going to let this one go. I was hoping to see Sun get involved, but if even if Sabrina didn’t need her here, eventually she is going to need some back up because three on one odds catch up with you.
Still, this was a HUGE win for Sabrina, and anyone coming out on top with those odds against her is definitely making a name for herself.
Ghosteraser, it was an honest mistake. Wand, Kendo Stick…. I think that’s what Sabrina was thinking with the trash talking. She just avoided being caned and triple teamed….what was she supposed to say? Thanks? So really, its only going to get so much worse. Or will it? Ah, ‘Brooking!’ Yeah, staying and fighting those odds would be very ‘Brooke.’ LOL
Glad you think so, Adam and I know Sabrina is too. 😀
I think you’re right, Ken. The Belles have a long memory and realistically, it might be a more harsh beating in mind, assuming that they can keep Sabrina grounded long enough to inflict it. I agree a huge victory…well, the upcoming pages might be interesting to you. 😉
Impressive! I wouldn’t call it an upset. But I am surprised Sabrina pulled it off against the odds, and without getting caned too! This puts her in a new light. No question there. For my part, I’m going to be reviewing her tapes. You never know…
Sabrina’s a smart cookie (maybe a sugar one) to get out of the fix the way she did. Sure, the Belles will be on the ball for revenge, but the main thing is living to fight another day…as for the girl behind the curtain, I’ll bet on Sun, but I’m probably wrong. Albone, was it you calling up to try and get my address spelled right? I hope not.
Hey Champ! Good to know that Sabrina has made it on your radar. With your comments here, I wonder if you’ll find tomorrow’s update more interesting. 😉
It might’ve been me, darkmark! I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. 😛 I think the consensus is that Sabrina probably didn’t have to taunt the Belles, but considering who they are, does it really matter? We know the Belles will strike back and so does Sabrina.
It appears that the commentators’ balloon colors are switched in this comic. It’s more Red’s style to give some incredibly stupid rationalization for the Belles’ heel behavior.
