Olivia is breaking down what The Plan was supposed to be for little Brina, and as you can guess, Sabrina’s eventual rebellion of The Plan, and it seems that there are still some unresolved issues from this. Resentment on both sides. What do you guys think? Still any chance that they can work past the unresolved issues and possible get on the same page? If not, it’s going to be a long wait on the roads to clear.

Ho-ho! Finally the Manager Mom shows her claws!!
There was a plan, yo.
Well at least this explains Sabrina. Poor patenting.
Also poor awareness on Mama Mancini’s part, denigrating Sabrina’s chosen profession in a roomful of colleagues.
Well why not ? Mama Mancini is your understudy, right? I remember that time in that pub in Manchester where you wanted to pull down your pants and have that lori driver… ummm… never mind…
Her name was Lori Driver, she wasn’t A lorry driver, and you agreed to keep that private!
And NOW it comes out…!
Like some parents I know, if you think she’s right, you’re right. If you think she’s wrong, you’re wrong and can’t no one tell her any different.
Okay I can see why Brina doesn’t want to hang out with her.
Yeah, Sabrina wants her Mom to be happy and healthy. She just doesn’t want to hang out with her.
Reminds me of my relationship with my mother who wanted me to become someone she wanted me to be, and sabotaged every effort I made to be what I wanted to be. I hope Sabrina’s mom gets buried in a snowdrift.
You and Sabrina are currently thinking the same thing.
Da Plan! Da Plan!
What? Wait! ‘Brina didn’t do the fair?!?!?#%#%
You told her to keep off your turf. Now she avoids county fairs, back alleys, and corners on Halstead south of 47th St.
Sabrina was ‘scheduled’ to win the Fairest of the Fair.
so brina’s mom just made her heel turn to the rest of the upstarts I see.
Every villain is the hero of their own story. And to think that the day started innocently enough.
I mean, yeah. How dare Brina put herself on display like that in a weekly display of finely honed skill and physical ability? SHE SHOULD HAVE JUST LOOKED PRETTY INSTEAD!!!!
Note the heavy amount of sarcasm in my voice
NOTED.
Pretty is dignified. Physical is not. That’s what Sabrina’s trophy husband or maid would be for.
Well Sabrina’s mom just lost any sympathy she could get on my end. I have never liked beauty pageants nor do I understand why any self respecting parent would want there child to be in a shallow, cut throat, narcissistic, and all around unhealthy world that the beauty pageant makes. Let alone force her to be apart of that world. Always thought Beauty pageants left a unhealthy world view on both the parent entering them and the child who was a part of them.
Also that all of this seems to be what Sabrina’s mother wanted for her but I doubt she ever really asked Sabrina what she wanted for herself. Which is what a good parent should be doing for there child and helping to achieve that. A good parent is at least proud for there child’s success. Not the success they plan for there child. This is just the classic trope of the parent wanting to live threw there child. And in this instance it’s just selfish.
Is it weird or ironic that Sabrina still chose a profession that puts her in the spotlight? Or just coincidence?
Is it also coincidence that Tom and Andrew are no where to be found? 😛
Usually, inside every pageant mom is someone who still thinks they could have been a contender if it weren’t for that unfair judge who was too blind to see her brilliance. That’s why they marry another beautiful person and have kids that are beautiful enough to do what she couldn’t.
It seems to be a hole that gets deeper and deeper. I see the same with parents trying to live on through their kids athletics. Pushing them because maybe one day they’ll get there, just like their parents if they would’ve had a push.
Don’t care for the mother however Sabrina still needs to respect her.
“Respect” is a funny word…
When you say you respect someone, it could mean that you recognize that they’re a person with their own rights, their own priorities, and the ability to make their own choices.
Or you could mean that you respect someone as an authority, who knows better than you and you should listen to them no matter what your gut says.
It’s unfair for Sabrina’s Mom to demand Respect(2) from her daughter, when she doesn’t appear to Respect(1) her.
Never said I agreed with her mother and I think her mother is wrong in so many ways. I am staying no matter how horrible the mother is Sabrina should not lower herself to that level.
It’s sound advice but we’ve seen Sabrina’s temper get the better of her before and there’s nothing like family to troll the worst out of you.
A way to redeem the past at the cost of her daughter’s own happiness ?
I think this is just a good old fashioned Mother/Daughter fight. But maybe they can work towards an understanding?
Shouldn’t that be “boob pops OUT”?
Heh. You might be right.
I love my reader editors!
EXPLOSIVE!
Big momma’s got a plan and you had best be paying close attention!
Love it!
Sabrina might have forgotten about the past but the past certainly didn’t forget Sabrina! XD
Sabrina tried with everything she had to avoid. More’s the pity! XD
