MMA rules! Something that both Krystin and Mercy have been asking for a while. For a little recap into Krystin and Mercy’s friendship/rivalry:

Now, with all of that out of the way, who do you have to win in this one? Krystin and her ability to adapt, improvise and overcome, or Mercy who has a lot of straight experience inside the cage?

Seems like a rough way to win. Do they not know that KO’s can lead to brain damage?
Dana White (and others) claim that MMA is one of the safest sports in the world. Most exciting sports (Football, baseball, racing, boxing, wrestling) have some risk especially when it comes to concussions.
Krysten is fighting her plan. Next step: break Mercy’s fist with her face!

Krystin seems in a pretty hard place right now. She’d better be careful. When Pro Wrestlers try and make the jump to MMA, they normally lose their first fight
That is true about wrestlers in their first fight! I think maybe Batista or Lashley avoided that, but not Brock or Punk.
Krystin has trained for this though, and as you can see i the last panel, giving the thumbs up.
Krystin in MMA is a surprise to me. However she needs every help she can get for her upcoming fight.
Krystin likes challenges and obstacles, or moreover, she likes conquering them.
As a wrestler I’d say “Northern Lights Suplex” (or possibly grabbing the ref to distract her and then giving Mercy a naughty knee). We’ll see if Krystin goes that route…
Northern lights suplex is such an underrated move and just about perfect for this position.
Krystin can be very business like, but I don’t know that she’d cheap shot someone she respects.

Oh, maybe she’s gonna stick that thumb in Mercy’s eye!
They ARE in a wrestling ring…surrounded by a cage…after all.
gonna go with experience and stick with Mercy here. def tech’s technical skills are at a bit of a disadvantage when knockouts are involved (even those from impact) unlike in wrestling match. krystin can still win by submission but that’s basically her only play. mercy can do both in her playbook so stick with the person who has the most paths to victory.
