Freaking Ankle Lock! I don’t think it’s spoiling anything by saying this is the point of the match where a missed move or hold may cost either one of them the match. The match and its physicality is wearing on Sabrina and Brenda, and the human body can only take so much before it wears out. So, who’s going to make that mistake that gives them the opening?

The back and forth continues.
Sabrina’s lucky she is not fighting me, two speedsters would have been wild.
I agree, which is why I loved matching you up with Sun in the tag matches. 😀
What a great match… I hope Brenda is alright after that crash
I think her shoulder is going to be feeling it, with about every other body part after this match. Snow can help it out.
I’m thinking back to the earlier days of the comic, when every match was multiple pages and it tended dilute the impact (as well as slow actual story). It is a good contrast now. You’ve shifted the expectations. Now most of the comic is story, so when there is a match like this one, of significance and deserving of multiple pages, it stands out.
Just a kudos for progress as a storyteller
Thank you kindly! I think and hope that’s been a bit of ‘smarter not harder,’ mentality.
Can’t tell if the Buffalo’s shoulder hit the post… That’s a big difference in how this will play out.
She did. consider the shoulder THUNKED. 😀
Nice leg roll into an Ankle Lock… and I think that shoulder is going to plague Brenda going forward. Her finisher relies on being able to get her opponent up onto her shoulders, if they can’t support the strain…
This chess match is all about min/maxing at the right moment. Brenda is plenty strong to get Sabrina up for her Celtic Hammer, but nailing her shoulder might open up an exploit for Sabrina to take advantage of.
The death grip shot was good. Hoping the match goes on for a bit, but I think Sabrina’s gonna pull this one out.
Thanks! I was going for something just a tad different than the standard bearhug. It’s gotten some good feedback. More to come!
