Caribbean Chaos – Episode 9
I think this is such an important and worthwhile discussion for nerds and non-nerds everywhere. And not one to be taken lightly either! Anyone here surprised at Sabrina’s choice?
And here’s last update:

So the first encounter is on and I cannot say that I’m surprised by Sabrina’s choice given her own course of actions in the past.
Still the last panel wit Becca is surely a cute moment as this is a good moment that cannot be forgotten. Great job Mr. Reynolds. 🙂
I concur on the good job sentiment. 😀
Had to think on this for a bit. Mirage from The Incredibles.
Nice choice.
That ‘inaudible squee’? Far cuter than I expected. ^^
Too true. You can feel the ‘squeeing’ through the screen. lol
I’m not sure I get the sexploitation thing with Merida. Maybe I’m not nerd enough? The Stockholm thing kinda works. I’ve always thought they should do Weber’s Phantom of the Opera. Then you could have Christine in an evening gown match.
Oh hell!! This is contagious! Fie!
Only in America have I ever heard anyone describe Scottish accents as sexy.
You watch your mouth. My dad came from Edinburgh and had a very sexy voice. Connery had nothing on him there.
But which paranoid schizo shelf did you pull that off of? I didn’t say anything about that. Are those voices that started popping up after I dropped you once to many times on your head back again?
Read the comic you ginger git, by which I mean call Snowy over so she can read the words for you.
I’m with Becka on the Scottish accent tip. French does it for me too. And English. Not German though. Cool language, just doesn’t do anything for me.
I would love to see Disney adapt Phantom.
I can see French. I think actual Germans can be sexy as hell, though I agree their accent isn’t usually the most so.
I’m a little hesitant to comment on “English”, just because I’m an insider, so I don’t think of “English” as an accent. When a Yank says it, they usually mean “BBC Newsreader”, which sounds plain to me, not unlike how I imagine the middle-American/bi-coastal “American” accent sounds to Americans. Occasionally, though, they’ll take it to mean RP (Received Pronunciation, e.g. how the upper class characters in Downton Abbey speak,) which sounds unbearably stuff to me, or even Cockney, which is like holding up the cast of Jersey Shore as representative of American speech. Then there’s all the regional accents; Scouse, Brummie, Geordie, Mancunian, etc.
Then why reply to me, ye nit! Should have been a top level comment. But I did learn something from you here. That’s a first lol
There’s a lil island off Virginia on the Chesapeake where they say the form of English used during the founding of the Colony is still spoken. I went there in grade school and couldn’t understand a word. This never got better with Callie – which makes her old as the hills?
