Chapter 01-Page 4-Running Up The Score
Ultradragon has been through some rough patches before but this might the worst. Taking two finishers in a row from Too Hott, especially the Pedigree and After School Special (somersault senton) no one could kick out of that, right? Is this the rain on Sabrina’s Damage Inc. parade? Loretta and Sara are counting on it!

Why aren’t they CHEATING? What’s the point of turning heel if you’re not going to cheat? It’s just plain old Ultradragon seen through Instagram’s sepia filter.
Win if you can. Lose if you must. But always, ALWAYS cheat.
Spoken like a heel lol
well they probably have been but Too Hott’s just more practiced at it so it doesn’t show up that well for ultradragon.
Kyra and Yvonne are right around the corner. Maybe. I dunno.
Great Heenan quote. Another fun was, ‘you can never offend me with cash.’
Interesting that Dawn is the one on UltraDragon’s side. I mean, sure, it’s a heel vs heel match, and someone had to take the babyface role in the match, but considering the fresh heel turn, I thought Jeff might be cheering for UltraDragon tonight, to really sell it.
Sabrina’s in a pretty rough spot. Hopefully Sun can get in there and make the save! Too Hott appears to have forgotten her. Maybe she’ll remind them just how big a mistake that is…
I suppose Sabrina hasn’t done anything overtly heelish yet so dawn can still back her as a face like she had before the gear change. if/when she does it’ll be a tough one for Dawn to decide on I bet. plus she has no reason to cheer for Too Hott at all- they’re still their usual heeling selves.
I was kinda thinking the same thing. 🙂
Dawn’s always liked Sabrina so she’s willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Nice opening Al! You can almost see the muscles quake on impact. And bad girls being bad…I love women’s pro wrestling! Hmmmmm….but Sun is still out there somewhere…he, he, he!
Thanks, I always try to challenge myself on different angles and perspectives.
I love women’s pro wrestling too. 🙂
Hmmmm, just where IS Sun? Tied up in the Tree of Woe still? Or somewhere else?
How slow is Sun at getting herself un-hung from the ropes? Whatta slacker! Aren’t you supposed to be ninja-girl? Get your scrawny butt in gear!
… yes I know I’m far scrawnier. Sorry.
Maybe she heard you?
Best heel vs. heel matches I ever saw was Freddie Blassie vs. John Tolos at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. People used to have heart attacks watching them pound the crap out of each other. It was a tragedy and a crime all of their videos were taped over.
I can’t say I ever saw any of Freddie Blassie’s matches. He was only ever a manager when I was watching but I’m definitely intrigued.
My personal fave was the Vader vs. Stan Hansen match. Fun premise… neither guy had a problem with the other either on camera or off, and they were both heels. So why were they thrown at each other? They were well known for being both brutally stiff and perfectly willing to take as many stiff shots as they dished out. So it was basically a brutal fight for no better reason than these were two guys who liked brutal fights.
Vader and Hansen were great workers. Did that match happen in Japan?
Off the cuff, heels who like to work stiff, reminds me of Vampiro and Steiner. XD
Oh, Hansen was working stiff long before either of those guys. His lariat broke Bruno Sammartino’s neck, and pretty much cemented his rep. The match with Vader was indeed in Japan, and is famous because one of Hansen’s lariats actually caused Vader’s eye to pop out of its socket. The match was halted, and the trainers managed to pop it back in. And then… it continued. Not for long, and Vader’s eye was horribly swollen, but it went to a double countout as they kept brawling outside the ring. Testament to how dangerous working stiff can be, and also a testament to Vader’s legit toughness.
Also reinforces the idea that you didn’t have to have an awesome physique to be a badass. Hansen and Vader would never win any body building contest, but they were men you did not want to mess with. Steve Williams and Bruno were also on that list… neither had an awesome physique, but they were two of the physically strongest men to ever wrestle.
Yeesh, what is with Vader and eyes/ears? 😛
As big as Vader and Hansen were in the States, I knew they did very well in the Japanese market and I just had a feeling they’d brawl there. XD Definitely two legit tough guys.
Yikes, where’s Sunshine when you need her ?
Maybe Sabrina hasn’t healed enough from last season, right ?
Only a miracle can save her now.
Maybe Damage Inc will have something to ‘say’ on the matter. 😉
Love it when Sabrina takes the pain…in the ring, of course! Except for the one with Kat Smith. But I hope Sun makes the save.
Sara’s looking to continue the pain, regardless of the pinfall or not (as seen in the Voting Incentive).
(Minxy backstage)
“Listen to Lori! Sassy hook the legs! you won’t catch anything from her that way! they deserve to lose wearing those outfits anyway! and the ninja! watch for the ninja! Lori go get her! and remember sassy, the power of the punch if they cheat their way out of this!”
(paces around concernedly, chewing her fingernails)
Minx is a solid coach. 🙂
Grab the rope! Sabrina! It’s right there! I… think that breaks a pin??
Yup, rope breaks a pinfall or a currently held submission hold.
Well, for a submission hold there is a five count by the ref. But breaking pinfalls are immediate.
Indeed!!
I can see Sun coming back and saving Sabrina’s bacon and then taking an attitude and looking for a new partner. Or…management thinks Sabrina isn’t bad-ass enough and pairs her with the “new” girl to help Sabrina amp up her game…or…the new girl challenges Sabrina for her position with Sun.
Would that ‘new’ girl be Kyra? 😛
Either Sabrina needs to kick out, or Sara needs to get Ninja’d… otherwise, this won’t be an auspicious start for Sabrina’s time in Damage Inc.
I know it. It would be the worst rebranding ever. Up there with Regal’s Man’s man and such. 😛
Yeah, but lets face it, you can’t beat that entrance theme XD
Ugh, LOL!!!
I liked it when the ribbed regal in England when he was fighting Daniel bryan at either a house show or smackdown taping. he came out to his current menancing theme then a few seconds into it they switched it to the “man’s man” theme. both regal and bryan lost it- and the crowd started signing along to it I think as well 🙂
That’s a great story. 🙂

Personally I’m betting on Sabrina kicking out. She has the guts to withstand worse then that.
Sabrina is one tough cookie, but two finishers in a row might be even too much for her.
Common Sun get in there and break that pin!
Sara tied her up pretty well in that Tree of Woe. There’s no telling if she’ll ever get down!
I have to wonder aloud here, but Sabrina has taken some pretty punishing blows to her face, head and back. She has to be hurting. She just can’t snap back from all of that. Even if she kicked out she would be wandering around the ring in the middle of her match with two killer wrestlers still in pretty good shape that are looking for more reasons to cause hereven more hurt. Just thinking about that.
Sabrina’s totally been worked over and understandably gassed. Does she have enough to get her shoulder up? Sara is being really lazy and cocky with that cover, after all.
Oh god, not the ass. Come on Sara!
