Chapter 06— Page 15-Matrix Kick
Sun took a mighty blow from Black Widow but was able to weather it and give some back with a great Matrix Kick, or Enzuguri if you prefer. Just don’t say, ’enzuguri to the back of the head,’ Michael Cole. It’s already to the back of the head!! We already knew that Sun is tough, but can how many more haymakers can she take from Black Widow? 2? 1?
Plus, Sun runs on speed but with each shot that Black Widow lands, it’s bound to add up. Of course, Sun’s high octane offense is going to chip away at the durability and strength of Black Widow. If that’s how things shake out, who’s got the advantage?
Patreon!
I thought I’d do a plug for my Patreon page. IIRC, you don’t need to pay anything to join Patreon and I last month I had 2 dozen public posts. These are announcements, sketches and sometimes unlocked goodies like early looks at upcoming pages.
However, if you’re interested in supporting, here are some of the perks:
$1- Access to my sketchbook, wallpapers and pencils-only of the latest Rival Angels pages. You also get info on what’s coming up, like the proposed live-action Rival Angels match in the works.
$2- Everything with $1 tier, but also the Inks only pages of Rival Angels.
$5- You get Rival Angels pages A Week EARLY, plus everything in the other tiers.
$10 – All the goodness from the other tiers but you’re also entered into a random drawing for art! And this month, I decided to do 3 different peeps!
$20 – All of the above but you get three chances to get some original art from me.
There are higher tiers, but I thought we’d start with that. So check it out and see if there’s something for you there.

Sun can move, but is she quick enough that she can throw her opponent off balance ?
Hmmmm, that is a good question. She’s not one for grappling or judo, or anything that takes you off your feet, other than high-flying offense. Maybe that’s the answer? High-flying offense?
It is a good thing the Widow let go of her foot as Sun spun to kick her.
That’s true. She could have held on and twisted the other way. She likes to stroke cat fur against the grain like that too.
I think it had less to do with Bitsy’s grip and more of Sun’s dexterity and/or the kick to the head. The sequence was based loosely on what Seth Rollins regularly does in that situation.
Sun gone a woke Bitsy up. Never a good idea!
A mad Bitsy is one you don’t want to be in the way of. !!!
The longer this match goes, the more it favors Widow.
I agree, but do you mean because the longer it goes, the better chance that Bitsy connects with Sun and lays her out?
A good head shot from Sun, but she needs to work on making widow horizontal. Perhaps a few missile dropkicks, or some good dropkicks to the knee.
Bitsy I kinda like Alpha Female. I’m not sure Sun could drop kick her down. Chopblock to the knees would work though.
It’s definitely part of ‘Step 1’ right alongside, ‘don’t get hit!’
