Chapter: Chapter 6 - International Incident
Characters: Cocoa Rococo, Sabrina Mancini
Location: Angel Dome arena
Cocoa is hammering on her better way of doing things, but what do you think? Both she and Sabrina are successful, so does it matter?
This was a fun page to draw with all of the different moves and holds. Lots of power, low tech kind of offense like sliding sweep, jumping reverse back kick, punch, flying high knee, combination full nelson-stump puller and just grappling chaos.
So is Sabrina upset with Cocoa saying that she’s Brenda’s bitch or can’t win the big match?

Ah yes, DeSade! That was quite the accomplishment for our young Ultragirl.
If Cocoa’s way worked she woudn’t have gotten booted out of her own country. Also as fare as I know Atlas’s brand dosn’t even have a tag title belt or any other belt besides the main title. Can’t win what isn’t there.
It’s very true, Kobra. Battling Ring Angels only has the one World title belt. And Cocoa is more welcome in Chicago then she is back in Brazil!
I mean, getting kicked out of your stable is one thing, getting fired from your promotion is another.
Then there’s being run out of your entire COUNTRY…

Looks like Sabrina wants to end this match fast and quick. Still, she does have a point in saying that Cocoa’s way surely backfired on her when she left her homelands.
Who know if it’s too late for Cocoa to try to make amends for her past ?
You don’t get paid by the hour in Rival Angels. XD However, Both of these ladies pride themselves on strong offense early to try and get the advantage.
It still grates at Cocoa that she can’t go back home.
Cocoa make amends for her mistakes? She’d have to admit them first.
It takes a lot for a bad person to change their way so Coco might be bad forever.
Weird she doesn’t know that Sabrina fights better when upset. “You don’t want to make me mad!” Cltohes ripping and getting bigger….
I think you might be right about Cocoa being set in her ways.
LOL! It’s true that Sabrina can channel her anger, but I think you’re confusing her with She-Hulk. 😀

I love the action. But Sabrina is playing her opponent’s game. She’s holding her own so far, but is that a smart long game?
Normally, I’d say ‘No.’ Sabrina should go to her strengths.
and finally one of the zingers lands a telling blow. will it be enough for cocoa?
also seeing this outfit of Sabrina’s keeps brining me back to the xmas special where Sabrina’s mom makes the catty comment about people hoping she would pop out of her top during the match. cocoa would be the type of person to make this happen if things get rough later on in the match.
Cocoa is up in the scorecards on the Mental game, but they both have stockpiles of verbal ammunition to go with the physical bombs.
Cocoa is DEFINITELY the type to yank on Sabrina’s top to embarrass and/or get an advantage, but there’s a part of Cocoa that wouldn’t want the crowd to pay attention to that than to her. XD
People who complain about other people taking shortcuts are jealous of the fact that they lacked either the brains or the guts to take those shortcuts themselves.
Sabrina would definitely like to be a (singles) World Champion.
Of course she would. If she’d stayed in BRA, she’d definitely have had a chance, but she wouldn’t do that because Sun would have been sad, so oh well.
Then she had a chance in her match with Kat for the TV championship, but no, she couldn’t do it because some spotty-faced mark in the cheap seats might not have respected her as much, so that was clearly right out.
Sabrina’s ego and the constant need to feed said ego with more validation, more plaudits, more praise, has been what has kept her from singles success.
You make some valid points. Maybe Sabrina will take that advice to heart?
