Chapter: Chapter 6 - International Incident
Characters: Cocoa Rococo, Sabrina Mancini
Location: Angel Dome arena
These two are trading creative holds back and forth, with Cocoa edging out, at least in this particular exchange. Both of them are looking for any kind of opening. Who do you think has the best chance of pulling this off?
I’m not even sure what the hold in panel 2 is. 😛

All of the good matches have them. lol
Looks like submission Cocoa is going to be hard. However, the announcers are right about one thing and that is Sabrina and Cocoa bring out the worst in each other.
Both ladies would LOVE a submission or KO victory, and they’re both working hard for it. These two are polar opposites, evidenced in their conversation before on whose way was better.
So close, Cocoa almost got Taz’d
Did Taz lose while having a submission hold in?
Yup. The match right before he beat Shane Douglas for the ECW title at Wrestlepalooza ’97, he had a Match with Sabu after he, RVD, and Lawler bet up damn near the whole ECW roster. Taz locks in the Tazmission, Sabu kicks off from the turnbuckles and ends up on top of Taz. The Human Suplex Machine is so concerned with the submission he doesn’t realize his shoulders are down, and ends up getting pinned.
WHOA. That’s awesome, and old school. I hate to admit that I missed the Lawler ECW-invasion, where RVD was dubbed Mr. Monday Night. Was that before or after Heyman and ECW invaded RAW the first time?
I’m not sure if the panel 2 hold has ever been used.
And my back hurts just LOOKING at it.

yup during his feud with dean malenko, the man of 1000 holds, Jericho said he was better since he knew 1004. that is move #3

These two are also devious while also being creative. They’re both going to be sore for a MONTH after this.
There is defiantly something great about two wrestlers that manage bring out both the best, and worst in each other. And that’s defiantly what we have here.
Have to disagree with the announcers in the last panel. Looks like Cocoa broke the hold when she kicked out.
Maybe you see something that Jeff and Dawn don’t? You DO have a better vantage point then them. 😉
Many times these type of rivalries can still end in mutual respect, at least for the talent, if not the person. Think we’ll get that at the end of this?
I expect Sabrina to win. Great action here! Nice to see that Cocoa bounces a bit back on this page.
You can’t keep either of them down for long. Sabrina applauds your good sense.
Always the challenge trying to play an MMA bottom game in wrestling. Gotta watch those pins. At least Cocoa has another sport she can try her hand at when she loses to Sabrina.
I like the confidence you have in Sabrina! Yeah, I remember at a SHIMMER show seeing Shayna Bazler lose to something similar, even though she had her opponent in a submission hold.
Didn’t see that, but it is a good theme for the learning curve and ‘mental blindspot’ of an MMA type trying wrestling.
If they end up doing a Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match, I could see a similar near self pin coming up.
I think we’ll find out at Survivor Series on that 4 Horsewomen vs Horsewoman, as that’s when its rumored, atm, to go down.

Gotta say. Both ladies are pulling out amazing moves. I’m loving this match. LOVE Cocoa’s armbar here.
