Never let it be said that Krystin won’t rise to any challenge, on any field. It doesn’t matter if it’s wrestling, flag football or something more intimate. Krystin has her ‘medicine’ now. Will she want back in the game so bad to use it?
If you don’t know who Gordon Ramsay is, just GOOGLE him. XD
Voting Incentive!
While Krystin and Topher experiment with new culinary dishes, let’s check in at Rival Angels Headquarters. Vote to see what’s coming up on Wednesday!
So, the boobage distracting people from Vince’s apology?
No worries, it’s going to continue next update. 😉
lolz..
Your Crepe is “RAW…DONKEY!”
But is RAW good? Never know how it will turn out.
I’m not even going to bother with an “I told you crepes suck” because I never actually told anybody crepes suck. I merely said I don’t like them.
That said, Vincent is apologizing. Great. It’s not too late to kill him off screen. I’d be surprised if he had any idea how badly he messed things up for Sabrina or if he even actually felt any remorse for what he did.
I think he had permission to do what he did and now it is damage control time. FAKE FAKE FAKE
Oooo Wheels within wheels!
More to come on that next update. 😉
Fully agree with you ;-).
Love panel 1 :D.
Nice bra btw :D.
Chocolate sauce? Better try a few (and I mean just a few :)) of these Krystin 😉 http://www.la-boheme.nl/seizoens.asp
I agree with The Snow Kitten & Brenda :D.
Pfft. Gordon Ramsay’s a potty mouth with anger issues.
That said, bare bewbs and frying do not mix.
He should have finished cooking then he could have crepes covered boobs for dinner.
Please! This is a family show. That’s crepes a-la ta-ta
This is why Topher barred her from that side of the island. Well, that and he’s kind of a control freak.
I have no idea why, but Topher reminds me of Vince Offer. Which elevates him to megaheel status, for me.
*rolls eyes*
Boys are so easily distracted.
**********
Baby ‘Brina Watch!
She speaks! Kind of. It’s not even vaguely English, but I is certain that Sabrina-Ripley’s various coos and gurgles are more varied and noticeably more excited. She is defiantly telling me something of super importance!
*nod*
Oh, and baby smiles, they are the best smiles.
Baby crying…not so much…

YOUTUBE of the Day!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh-1xu4LSDk
Because in the Dark Future of the Forty-First Millennium, the Girls are Kicking all of the Ass as well!
X3
Yes. But what a pleasant distraction.
*nod* *big nod*
I have to co-sign.
Yes men and breasts are like dogs and squirrels.
SQUIRREL!
Cookies!!
No Brenda!
My Cookies!
Mine.
Grrrr Best of three falls! Winner takes all!
I’ll ref. ^_^
I’ll watch and eat the cookies!
Love the Baby Brina-Ripley updates! 🙂
Either it’s the medicine in her or Krystin just wants to have some fun and reward Topher for his good work. It’s about to get hotter in that kitchen.
I tend to think it is also a way to insure he stays mum about all of this.
Whatever it is, it’s definitely going to get hot and I suspect they’re both going to have fun.
Momentary fun, followed by the eternal frustration of never really being able to get the chocolate stains out of the fabric/upholstery. That reminds me:
“Next on Sex Tips Not To Steal From Movies!”
Ciel: Food is best eaten off of a plate. Remember that movie crews just burn the stuff they stained and buy new ones. They don’t care that syrup or hot sauce never comes out. But you probably like that bedroom set and don’t want to have to drop a hundred bucks to replace it every time somebody gets kinky. And you probably can’t see it, but one of those “The More You Know” stars just flashed over my head. Check it, biznitches.
$100?!?!? Where? Where! And that’s the black satin, right?
This is an excellent concern because Topher is a fancy man; he likes his creature comforts. I suspect he’ll be extra thorough around the nice things.
I put up a Transgender fight in the forums section.
For those that can figure out it and like to read have fun.
It is a short fight.
Snow’s matches are such wicked good fun too!
http://rivalangels.freeforums.org/snow-kitten-vs-the-dragon-t495.html
Ooop, beat me to it. 🙂
Heh, ‘trans.’
…erm.
I think the word in this context is generally intergender…
laffs Those Catgirls are easily confused.
And speaking of which, thanks for the laser pointer for my birthday. We’ve had a ball with it. Well… I have anyway Muahahaaaa
Laser pointer? But that was for Katie so she could give her presentations.
Bollocks. Must have mixed up the packages.
No wonder she was so upset with me last year…
Rats got it wrong.
Very funny to read Kitten :).
Well as The Dragon wasn’t a problem for you, it looks like Maggie Connor gave you a harder time. I hope my moral support (as commented over there) helped ha ha.
Glad you liked it
Topher is about to relearn why Krystin is known as Def tech. betcha Gordon Ramsey couldn;t do that. (laughs evilly at putting that image in people’s heads #heeljpiv)
Yeah, not the greatest image. Boooo HeelJPIV!
Krysitin got a bit thinner in the last panel. Is that a psychological impact on her self image at the moment?
She once told me she feels strong as She Hulk and fleet at Silver Surferette when things click in the ring.
And here, things have moved beyond click stage LoL
Topher seems pleased with her out of ring work. XD
Why would they need chocolate sauce at breakfast time? That’s just wrong.
*looks astonished and wonders
*Poke
*Poke
*Poke
Who are you? Where’s Scuffles?
Think of it as American nutella.
Oh riiiiight. That sort of makes sense.
If you don’t know who Gordon Ramsay is, count yourself lucky. TV chefs are a pain in the backside for those of us who actually, you know, cook.
He plays it up for the American cameras. When he’s on UK broadcast he actually sounds like a real boy.
I’m going to be asking for a chef on my next contract negotiation. Don’t pack your bags yet; but yes, yes, yes! It’s likely to happen; I’m the rain maker after all. Interested?
errr this was supposed to be a reply to Mr Ogre
No worries and I think Gabrielle would happily sign on that…provided that she doesn’t try to scoop him first!
Given that it’s you, you should probably also be asking for a sous-chef and three or four line cooks.
Why? Are the English invading – again?!? You stay away from my pasties. But I’ve been maturing the holiday haggis. You’re quite welcome to that *evil grin*
I’m not that Northern thankyouverybloodymuch.
So, wait… I’m confused. If Kristin is getting this from some random guy, and not a licensed pharmacist prescribed by a real doctor, clearly this stuff can’t be on the up and up. And we’ve seen from before the De Sade/Mancini match that Rival Angels actually seems to do blood testing from time to time. Why isn’t Kristin worried that there’s a chance this could show up on a blood test, especially as blood testing would be part of the physical to determine that she’s ready to return to competition (athletes may be prescribed HGH as part of a healing regimen but that medicine has to pass through their system before they’re allowed back)?
Well actually that was urine testing in that match, but still. There’s some due diligence in making sure roster members aren’t roided up.
Yep, this is definitely a complication that Krystin will have to deal with.
When I cook for babes (especially in as swanky a place as his), I know the girls usually can’t wait to take their shirts off for me, either.
Now that I’m married, however, this could complicate my dinner plans….
You should probably stop setting their shirts on fire.
Krystin’s need to get back in the game is going to reward her with a nice forced multi month vacation.
Krystin is getting it.
Sun used to get it, but not anymore and she’s mad about it.
Brooke wants it, but can’t find anybody that wants it with her.
And Ultradork has it thrown at her constantly only to still have no clue about what “it” is. Unless she’s working under Friendship is Magic rules, which is pretty much how she wins most of her matches.
I can’t believe that someone who prides herself to be the Def Tech would go for on the sly self-medication… Even if she’s a title-defender, wouldn’t she first and foremost take the high ground?
All in all the players seem to detoriate and the only people who seem to be consistent are the people who are placed as bad eggs from the beginning. The good guys all seem to be people with more issues than the New York Bellevue had in it’s entire run before it finally got closed down.
Sun used to be lovable and spunky, but she has a weird interpretation of friendship and her loyalty is like a flag in the wind. Just being a friend seems to be beyond her window of comprehension. Her ambition is without question, but that seems to be her only redeeming quality.
Brooke is just plain weird, but she’s the only one with a truly loyal friend. Hmmmm….
Sabrina has a very limited toolset that’s only of use to her in the ring. Outside of the ring she’s a total nitwit who should not be allowed to self determine. She rejected a contract-deal with BRA because of Sun’s skewered point of view.., and seems to end up empty handed. Make no mistake here, Sun is the one with a loyal friend.., but it isn’t true the other way around.
All in all, I wish the good guys would show some straight course for a while, just like the bad guys are showing.
It also would be great if “the bad guys” show some good sights 😀 : confusing all of us who to support ha ha.
Not really, in every story, the bad guys are two dimensional. They’re there for conflict, not for campfires and cumbaya. It’s much like Kazerat is doing with his MS-Paint adventure ‘How to make a cat cry’. Katia Mannegan is a great protagonosist, but Kazerat’s reluctance to really push Katia forward send him into an endless loop of bringing Katia up and casting her down.
Mush of that is also happening with Sabrina, she’s made 3-dimensional by her failures and because she doesn’t learn, she can only fail again. There’s no upward motion in Sabrina’s character-development, while the story is about a journey of a young woman who tried to escape poverty by becoming a show-wrestler. Since Sabrina is a young adult on a life-changing journey, one would expect for her to start making decisions that reflect experience(s).
But I guess that the next time Marina opens her mouth, Sabrina will be ensorcelled once more…
Kenny–er, Krystin is not in the Impact Zone–er, Rival Angels Stadium, so she can keep her “steroid therapy” a secret without having to use the moral high ground. Yet, does she even need the moral high ground if what Chris is giving her is legal? All we have to go on that Krystin is roiding up is the word of the Ultramaniacs and the previous history of this story. According to them, there is only one good girl in this whole story; the other characters are only around to turn bad the more in direct conflict they are with Sabrina.
Mush of that is also happening with Sabrina, she’s made 3-dimensional by her failures and because she doesn’t learn, she can only fail again.
That’s not 3-dimensionality, that’s the predictability you can find in bad comic strips. The only good news you can find in that is Sabrina has flaws, which means she’s not as much of a Mary Sue as first thought. But since she can’t learn, the dream of her becoming a good wrestler seems to be just that. Having a two-move wonder overcome the odds and become a champion of anything is just too fantastical to believe.
…while the story is about a journey of a young woman who tried to escape poverty by becoming a show-wrestler.
Escape poverty? Where did you get that from? Not much is given or known about Sabrina compared to the others.
Presumably I don’t count as an “Ultramaniac”, but here’s what we know about what Topher is providing Krystin from what we’ve seen, and what I think we can safely infer from that:
* Topher and Krystin both seem to believe it will aid her healing process.
* While Rival Angels has a medical staff, Krystin chose to obtain this through outside means, (Topher).
* * Inference: This is something RA cannot or would not provide her, or at the very least, Krystin wants her acquisition kept quiet.
* Topher showed some initial hesitation in providing it for her.
* * Inference: Whatever it is he got her, it ain’t aspirin.
In short, we have Krystin obtaining a substance on the sly that is supposed to speed up her recovery time. It may not be beyond a shadow of a doubt, but if I were in Gabrielle’s place and I had all this information, I’d be demanding a test WITH a witness in there with her to make sure.
@ JSN
While Sabrina was in developmental, she worked as a volunteer in an animal-shelter. She made do with whatever she got as what the developmental would pay her, which wasn’t much. Her move to the big leagues was a make or break deal. If she had bombed, her future as a bag-lady in Central Park was all but a given.
In developmental, Sabrina would often fight twice a day, which no athlete in that line of work would do if that athlete had the money to do otherwise.
It’s right at the start of the comics. ^^
About the Def Tech’s drugs. Any prescription-drug you get without a MD’s clearance is illegal. Krystin gets them in the kitchen of her stand-by screw. And Krystin is the TV-Champ… I don’t think that an athlete like that is outside of any impact-zone. In fact, I’m amazed that Gabrielle is rather luke-warm in her reaction… The black-widow got fired because of an action outside of the ring that could’ve killed somebody, but Brenda only needed a shot of hard liquor to be her old self again.
Krystin was put out of commission and all the management can come up with is something even McMahon would discard as utterly stupid.
I wouldn’t say that this comic is bad, or predictable. Sofar I’ve been pleasantly surprised a few times. The problem I have is that the protagonist, contradictory to her peers, doesn’t seem to grow, both in her career as in her personal and emotional life.
The only place where Sabrina can deal with what’s going on is inside the ring and I find myself more interested in what Sun, Brooke and Krystin are doing, because unlike the protagonist, the supporting cast is interesting.
@Calie;
That’s my line of thinking too.
That’s because Sabrina tried to make a career out of rugby by going to the premier rugby school only to find out she couldn’t cut it. Instead of focusing on her studies (the reason to go to college), she drowned her sorrows in the attention of frat boys and booze until she became a dropout. But shouldn’t she have paid those bills by now?
For Krystin, since it’s all but certain she’s taking steroids to heal faster, it’s just more evidence that only Sabrina is supposed to be good while every other character is on a sliding scale of evil depending on how much in direct conflict they are with Sabrina or her allies and when they are needed to bring that conflict to the forefront.
The only place where Sabrina can deal with what’s going on is inside the ring and I find myself more interested in what Sun, Brooke and Krystin are doing, because unlike the protagonist, the supporting cast is interesting.
That’s a concern others have about Sabrina as well. It does seem like Sabrina is more of a shounen manga character while the supporting cast have actual lives they deal with in their own way that may not be to the liking of the readers. They can have character development because they’re not that integral to the main story, but any development of the main character can make or break interest. Hence, Sabrina is in stasis until the creator is comfortable enough to develop the main character and the storyline without fear of the readers abandoning the story due to changes in the main character they don’t like.
@JSN
I guess Sabrina paid her dues off-screen. ^^ But that still doesn’t lessen the fact that at the time, her move to the big league was a make or break with a huge chance of her ending up in debt with a negative credit-rating.
Anyway, we’re both on the same page here, just looking at it slightly differently.
For the rest, I agree with your understanding of where I’m coming from. I myself dabble a bit with writing fan-fiction and maintain a daily soap on TS3.com and am often tempted to pander to my readers. In the end though, I boldly go my own way.
I hope that Albone finds the way to move Sabrina forward soon. If I only think of the possibilities of her character within the show-wrestling world… I’m almost tempted to force myself upon Albone to become a creative think-tank. ^^
Whoa…. Krystin…. I think I like this side of her
