Chapter 14-Page-02-Do The Work
Nov12
Well, look at that! Brooke did show up, at least physically. And now it’s time to do the work. After all, the ladies have some big goals to hit. Balance beam jump rope, kettle bell pushups, Bikrim Yoga and of course, weight training are just a few things on the schedule. Will it be enough?

I guess…..
Brooke is going to improve her flexibility..
so more on bodyweight strength…
(everyday twice a day)
is great… most of the programs are that…
Being flexible is important. Though it can be hard to keep up the workout and I know I only stop on holidays and when I’m sick.
well…
this is more answer to my Sabrina Sez..
Impressive program. It they start doing push ups on their fingertips and off the backs of their hands, I’ll need to start worrying. OK, even more…
Good art, boss. I feel the burn!
The kettlebell pushups are more fun if you do them on the handles!
If you remember the Rocky video where he did the one handed push ups….well I read up on them and learned to do them just like he did. The people at work were VERY impressed when I did it.
This is certainly going to help their athleticism, though I’m hoping they actually get in the ring and work on the mechanics and keep their in-ring abilities oiled and finely honed. Then of course, there’s toughening training. That’s basically getting knocked down over and over and getting back up, so your body learns to absorb and withstand the hits and keep going in the match
it is amazing what people will do to win.
As for getting used to being beat down I am more than happy to help Brenda with that. I’m like a ninja kitten, hiding in strange places then jumping Brenda when she walks by. ME-OWWWWW !!!
Which is why I walk softly but carry a big stick!
My new instructor is talking about using clubs in toughness conditioning.
It can get pretty rough.
Oh, wow. I really like this. Especially the handstands and the yoga. And that yoga handstand thing Brooke is doing. Whoa.
Well after seeing these works outs I bet you would have second thoughts taking them on in a fight.
Me I had second thoughts…they were along the lines of can I get them to go into a pose before I take them out.
I’d probably have to have first thoughts in order to have second thoughts. I don’t really consider fighting them. Not exactly my division.
Though, my own training is pretty rough, and getting moreso, now that I’ve found a certain new instructor. So if you’re suggesting that their training is rougher than mine… not really, no.
I don’t think there’s any vote link at all this time boss!
There I now.
Ah yus, the balance beam jump rope.
…
Faster than Sun, totally.
*nod*

Baby ‘Brina Watch!
My Baby Bear is calling me MaMa!! She took her sweet, frickin’ time, but still….squeeeeeeeeeeee!!
So Happy!!
XD
…
On the other hand, Baby Bear and Ms. Mittens are now ganging up on me during the early hours of the morning…
“MaMa!!”
“MewMew!!”
“MaMa!!”
“MewMew!!”
“MaMa!!”
“MewMew!!”
…sigh…
That´s wonderful news (MaMa) Sammie :D!
This Sesame St. classic is for Baby ´Brina 😉 http://youtu.be/YfwO8QAwxxs
Baby and Kitty, teaming up?! Alarming, and adorable!
Ouch! The way they’re doing push ups on the kettle bells has to be bad for their wrists!
Not particularly. The biggest change is that they get just a liiiiittle more range of motion out of the exercise, which is fantastic. Especially those who would be particularly impeded by a standard push-up, for… various reasons. Brooke, for example.
Training & work out: excellent. Of course all the other girls are doing the same. Hm I miss the girls in this one 🙂 http://youtu.be/vWz9VN40nCA
I just love the Yoga Pose Series at along the bottom. It’s just well placed.
Hey everyone! Glad you liked the page. I *just* got back from my 40th birthday Vegas vacation so I might not be able to respond to everyone, but I will for sure with tomorrow’s update. 😀
Looks like you had a very happy 40th birthday: congratulations Alan!
