I think my favorite part of this update is the expression on Krystin’s face.
The last panel is good too, because I love that counter. The sounds people make when they realize that instead of controlling you, they’re going up? Hilarious.
Wrestling has always been about giving and taking and the opening moves seldom tell the whole story.
For sure, Snowy, the match has just begun! Just commenting on how much I like that technique.

Sun’s been working on her core training.
Looks like someone’s going to be kicked in the face soon. The girls are off to a good start and not giving their opponents any room for attack. Let hope they can keep this up for the rest of the match.

Looks like the Catgirls made the same mistake about Ultradragon that most others make. Thinking they can only use the more airborne offense… but they’re quite more well-rounded than that.
In particular, it seems like any strategy that assumes Sun can’t respond in any given way is a bad one. She’s getting extremely versatile these days.
Sun is crazy underrated. She’s had the most complete developmental and wrestling career of the Upstarts. She’s even been the Champ of her developmental fed!
Lots of people are champions, developmental or the big leagues, without being particularly versatile. Early in the comic, Sun never struck me as extremely well-rounded. She was an excellent high-flier and an inventive dirty brawler, but didn’t appear to be more than that.
Now, though, she reminds me of Adrian Neville, in that there doesn’t seem to be a weak spot in her game. I feel like she’s the one that’s shown the most growth as a wrestler over the course of the story, and she’s becoming really impressive, even in the context of her past achievements.
For some reason I have to disagree with you. You don’t we are smart enough to study them before a match? Like her spitting stuff on people, being able to go toe to toe. Highflying is a Catgirl trait and if you think about if we switch up it might confuse them.
so what are the odds more time will be spent in the air during this match than on the ground? they barely made it three panels without people getting ready to start going over/off ring ropes and flying Angels all over (as the VI hints)
krystin seems more concerned than she should be for the match. is that a guilty conscious starting to kick in?
i’m going with a no contest (thanks black and blue) which leads to a fatal fourway with Catgirls vs Ultradragon vs Black and Blue vs Towers of Terror for the tag titles.
Well sadly it would take to long to show everything that is going on. Though for some reason I don’t think Albone will put in some of our more tricky moves…snickers. (See some of the written matches I’ve had)
oh i know albone can;t show everything and all.i just knew that you lot couldn;t stay on the ground for very long even if you were all wearing ankle weights.
Panel 4: Either Snowy is really short, or the top rope is placed crazy high up in Rival Angels compared to other rings I’ve seen. 🙂
