As I was going through all of the commissions I’ve done, I came across a few that I haven’t posted yet. This commission is from a FAWN match between Gretchen Vaughn and her now ex-step-daughter Portia Van Buren. This is a moment before Gretchen hits her HELL HATH NO FURY, a pumphandle facebuster.
Here’s a little bit of my art process:
I drew this up while I was at ACEN:
Then, it’s on to the flat colors! Basically, I take the colors and lay them down with no gradients or special effects. This helps if I need to change something later on. And since I’m coloring, I can be a little messy still here.
Schedule Break-Call for Fan Arts
I’ll still be updating but if anyone wants to send in any Rival Angels fan arts, this would be a magnificent time to send them in so I can share them on the site.

Vote because it’s good for you and good for me!
Pumphandle… facebuster? That can’t be comfy.
Yipes!
Great work!
Pumphandle slam moves are a pet peeve with me. More complicated to set up, and no more impactful than the regular slam. It doesn’t even look that much showier to pull someone’s hand between their legs.
Hey, but if they go face first they land on that arm. That’s gotta suck!
I always thought it was more disorienting then a regular slam.
Enjoyed this very much. Thanks again.
Love it! The raw power of one wrestler in control and the other caught in her hold. Paybacks from earlier in the match? Showing the crowd her wrestling prowess? Or just plain mean? The athletics. The faces. Hope to see more of that in the final season. Maybe Cocoa?
