Nice one boss. Sad it was so one sided. Sara definitely needed to talk less. 🙂
We’ll see how well Sara does next time as she’s scheduled for another Kickstarter page.
Well, Ms. Valentine will be taking some heat in the locker room tonight, you can count on that. She got too cocky.
That early sit-out pretty much rung her bell and it was all downhill from there. So, Spring has broke her RA cherry and put some rumors to rest about how she’d perform.
Clarification of this… Albone.. help…
how can Spring crucifix powerbomb as finisher..
I agree against Sara.. but what about bigger foes like, Brooke, Kat, Katy?
I don’t think she can..
please do clarify
That’s what the STF is for.
ohhhh it’s your character…
may I use it on my fanfic?
I have no issue with it, but she’s not entirely my character to lend out. I’ll check with the co-creator. 🙂
Official approval has been given; go nuts. 🙂
I am sorry to say but I don’t really see Spring doing The Celtic Cross or Razor’s Edge when she is only 5’6″ & skinny looking. Mostly because I don’t or HARDLY think Spring can’t lift the likes of Buckingham, Shamrock, or even the champion Brenda Rua to perform that move. Or even heel vs heel matches of her vs Katherine, Luna, Breaker, Lennox, & so on!
Punk got by with the GTS and when he fought guys that were too big, he went to submission moves. Spring’s got that here too.
I seem to recall a healthy selection of power moves from Paige’s indy days, too, and she wasn’t just a slim girl, she was a teenager. Can’t assume that just because someone doesn’t look like a bodybuilder that they don’t have the power for this sort of move.
Kayfabe is a bitch. TV kayfabe sometimes demands that only powerhouses can do power moves even if others can.
It’s interesting how, in a medium defined by displays of incredible athleticism, the athletes sometimes have to conceal their full ability for the sake of the broader illusion.
Hogan apparently had quite the moveset in Japan. It’s only after he came to the WWF in the 80s that ol’ Vinnie Mac made him wrestle a more generic big man style.
Granted, sometimes it’s done for a REASON. (*cough* lesnarshootingstarpress *cough*)
This is true. While Hogan was never a technical giant (especially by Japanese standards), he definitely showed that he had a broader arsenal than he’s usually given credit for. Hulk Hogan doing an enzuigiri? Yup, he could do that. Taking it to the mat with a cross armbreaker? Yup, that too. Hogan is quoted as saying he loved working in Japan because there he could ‘just wrestle’. Well, that he was viewed as kind of a demigod there because he legit knocked out Antonio Inoki (not intentionally, but hey, it really made his rep as a true badass) and that couldn’t have hurt his ego too much.
Also, hopefully Brenda Rua has a match for NEUTRAL GROUND instead of just having a day off. COME ON, WE WANT A RUA MATCH! lol
I enjoy my matches with Brenda Rua, she is easy to beat if you don’t let her get her giant mits on you.
Mits? You mean my EverBlast gloves? I’ll have you know those are custom and trademark. And sealed with a kiss too.
Here’s a pass to the back big guy ;;)
Interesting match up here. Up to a point power is relative. This works vs Sara for me. I’d like to see what she does against one of the catgirls though. If she gets past them then she can come play with the big girls hehee
She did what I would do, once I get the upper hand I don’t let up. None of those silly dances to let them recover and sneak attack. I’m evil…just as Miss Kat.
Spring vs one of the Catgirls, I think would be a pretty rough affair.
Either Sara is letting her have an easy win because she’s a rookie or Sara is that much of a pushover in the Rival Angels world. 🙁
Or she got caught by surprise and was never given a chance to recover.
There’s also the possibility that Spring is a legitimate tough competitor. As I recall, Sara had a long, rather intense feud with Moline, and it was used as an argument in favor of Def Tech as a legitimate midcard threat. Krystin was a rookie too. I think this should probably be viewed as an impressive achievement for Williams.
Unless, of course, that was Sara’s “Zach Ryder Then” phase, and this is Sara as “Zach Ryder Now.”
Rule 1 of combat sports, Never underestimate the rookie. Looks like the schoolgirl skipped that course
Studying was never her strong suit.
Something makes me think Sara had *ahem* OTHER priorities in school…
Is Spring Williams ‘related’ to Spice Williams who is a distant cousin of mine?
