Page 101 – In Control
Sabrina must be butter because she’s on a roll! Okay, I probably should save the one liners for the announcers like Jeff Krew. π
Sabrina’s really taking it to Loretta with these high risk moves. Its like Sabrina’s hell bent on putting Loretta away as hard as possible. The only problem is that the percentage game will catch up to you, but Sabrina’s looking good right now, and Loretta can only reel from the attack. Knowing our little Sabrina like we do, this can’t possibly keep up, can it? After all, the dropkick hasn’t connected yet, and maybe it won’t! !!
That insane move at the end was inspired by this bold, seven second YouTube clip:
Oh my…Sabrina starting to show off again. but a Big WOOOOOO!!! fo Sabrina
Come On Sabrina, a chop.. Sabrina starting to showing off again, she’s not taking it seriously, and obviously taking much time showing off the audience, and which give chance for Loretta to recover..
a chop is just a minimal damage when it been executed.. then Sabrina take too much time, to show off. that will be her down fall.. Sabrina should finish it off this match, like Sun did to Sara Valentine. I think on the next update, Loretta will move then Sabrina fell in which here comes the pain for Sabrina. surely head first. and then Loretta will capalize on Sabrina’s mistake.
Comparing that clip and this.. Sabrina release both hands and perform a dropkick, more than the move of youtube clip, so basically saying Sabrina got more skill..
What if Sun VS Loretta.. I would imagine Sun, won’t say shhhh… to the audience then execute a single chop.. I think Sun will just kick Loretta’s face or going outside the ring and pull Loretta’s legs and which Loretta’s fall to the outside.
Compare Sabrina to Sun.. Sun like to speed up the match, if she’s serious.. like what she did to Sara Valentine..more like didn’t know what hit em type..and Sun does use audience to energize her. she got energy from herself. While Sabrina feeds up energy from the fans and perform more and awesome move some unnessary move like this now.. so I don’t just a thought.. Sun is better than Sabrina..
I would say to Sabrina big.. huge… mistake for Sabrina.. one reason why, I don’t like “Ultragirl” and have being her fan.
I would really like support Diaz than Sabrina last time. until that shake, Loretta did in episode 65.. it’s unnessary in which I want Loretta pay for her crimes..
Maybe it’s time to help Loretta..
LET’S GO DIAZ!!!!CLAP CLAP!!!LET’S GO DIAZ!!!LET’S GO DIAZ!!!
and apoligize for the email.. Alan.. I just felt fear of the unknown.. specially on the Catgirls part.. in which I really like their wrestling style. in which I fear that get fired.. I hope catgirls won’t get fired.. and hope to see them holding tag team belt. π
The smart thing for Loretta to do now would be to just jump off the platform and out of the way.
However, her instinctive reaction will probably be to try and dodge. And with in current shaken condition and with her none-to-sure footing on the platform edge, that will probably mean she’ll fall to the floor in the attempt.
Nevertheless, this will take her out of Sabrina’s trajectory. So Ultragirl misses and lands rather unpleasantly on the corner stairs.
This will leave but girls stunned. Loretta has already taken the worse abuse, but Sabrina is bound to take the harder hit right now.
This would be a perfect time for someone with ill intend to interfere with the match.
Here’s a truely eveil idea: Brooke comes in, bearing a chair, and smacks it onto the back of … Loretta!
Result: Sabrina loses by disqualification, Loretta gets to compete in the TV tournament, and Brooke can talk her way out of it with “Sorry, sis’, I was just trying to help…”
No worries MGC, I appreciate your attention to Rival Angels! Also, you’ve never hid the fact that you don’t like Sabrina and that’s fine. I think you’re looking at the chop all wrong though. No one ever won a match with a chop, that’s not the point. The chop is meant to stun an opponent and set them up for the next move. Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair made their careers on the chop but they never won a match by executing one. In comparison to your critique, BetaJess loved that Sabrina silenced the crowd so you could hear Sabrina chopping the pride out of Loretta. I think the difference there is that she likes Sabrina and you don’t. One’s not more right than another, its just a difference of opinion. And as far as ending the match, the only move that Sabrina has done so far to Loretta before this page was a dropkick. Sabrina needs to wear down Loretta more, which she’s trying to do.
JackAce, Loretta’s in a tough spot and trying to make a decision in a split-second is going to be easier said than done especially given her precarious position on the apron. It’s going to be BAD news if Sabrina misses this dropkick though. That is one evil idea!! We’ll be seeing Brooke and Krystin before the end of this match, though not necessarily in direct connection to this match. π
WOOOOO! That chop wss right out of Ric Flairs textbook π I hope that Loretta moves and Sabrina misses the dropkick though, then maybe Loretta drags Sabrina to the middle of the ring and slaps on an evil submission move, something to wear down Ultragirl. Maybe a Ab Stretch or better still a Romero Hold :D…
(yes i realise me wanting submission moves is a depature from the norm but fear not..)
… cause then Loretta can pin Sabrina once shes got her weakened
(see i told you it wouldnt last…)
Maybe even use a version of the Ultrasplash, running from the ropes into a crossbody/Big Splash just to really humiliate Sabrina π Nothing worse then getting pinned using your own finisher!
Are the commentators’ voices broadcast in the arena, or are they purely for TV purposes?
Oy, What happened to the Sabrina love? XD
Matt I didn’t figure you for a Loretta fan/Sabrina hater, but yeah, getting beat by your own move would be way humiliating. I don’t know that Loretta could pull off the Ultrasplash, I really only think a few could like Sun, but off the ropes would be different. Submission holds you say? Hmmmmm……
JackAce, the commentators are for the TV viewers or ‘us’ so to speak. The audience at the arena don’t hear what the commentators are saying.
Its not that i dislike Sabrina.. i just think Loretta is more fun as a heel π Maybe her version of the Ultrasplash is the “Diaz Drop” or even “Loretta’s Launch”
Sabrina still doesn’t know the combinations of chop.. Ric Flair used multiple chops. in which that’s effective. Big Show used a single chop, but look at Big Show. here Sabrina is no Big Show, so I think that chop is like minimal to Loretta and then going on the top rope, not only that she kinda stall and waving at the fans in which it wasted some time in which my opinion bad move to Sabrina. then going on the top rope, not only that she kinda stall and waving at the fans in which it wasted some time. a single chop can easily be recover.
I have no problems of chops.. but Sabrina didn’t get the right rhythm and mixing with the chop.. chop should followed more chops or chop.. kick chop kick then a european uppercut then a dropkick. something like that. not one chop then going to the top rope..
Best example of chop used in Episode 43. Sun kicked then chop then chop Krystin. that would really wear out the opponent.
By the Albone, I really like your comment there.. hehehhe.. π and comparison critique by Betajess and me. hehehe.. π Thanks… about I don’t like Sabrina.. hmmm if Sabrina joins the Hell’s Belle. I could be Sabrina’s fan.. hahahha..
Sabrina needs to wear down Loretta more… hmmm.. I don’t know.. there’s many move to used. Sabrina could used multiple chops on panel 2..I think 5 chops on the chest? so she can wear down Loretta. hahah
Awesoooome page loved the awesome dropkick move
I hope that Loretta moves and Sabrina misses the dropkick though, then maybe Loretta drags Sabrina to the middle of the ring and slaps on an evil submission move, something to wear down Ultragirl. Maybe a Ab Stretch or better still a Romero Hold π
-Matt
Hahahha… Great move. abs strecher..
But if Sabrina miss.. I really like to see Loretta kick.. I mean kick.. “Randy Orton used to injure HBK” that kick.. and apply the scissor neck lock. like the catgirls used.. and then Finally “Diaz Drop (Pedigree)” that would be very humiliating. in which very disappointing on my part. coz I like Sabrina getting revenge for what Loretta did to her.. but if that’s what happen. it’s all Sabrina’s fault..
Maybe it will be a lesson to her that not taking seriously on a match can definite make a loss.. same goes with Loretta…
at first, on this match. I begun to like Sabrina.. episode 97-100, move.. she really got the moves, until she became very confident and gone with fan cheering type. I kinda felt discourage on her. but still won’t change my winning vote.. Sabrina will win this.
Thanks for the clarification Matt. π
Well MGC, anything can happen in Rival Angels and trying to predict what will happen next is half the fun!
Hey Adam! Thanks for the kind words and I love what you’ve been doing over at http://uber-diva.com/
Jeff Krew’s commentary reminds me a lot of Jerry “King” Lawler’s
Turbo, you could definitely say that Jeff Krew’s commentary is inspired by Jerry Lawler. π
A) Incredible comic. I love it.
B) I couldn’t help but notice the rumble roses inspired character, the one based off Candy Cane. Will there be any more guest appearances from RR cast members? That’d be kind of cool. one of my favorite games.
Welcome Allen and thanks for the kind words! I am a big fan of the Rumble Roses game but I based Sara Valentine off of the schoolgirl archetype rather than Candy Cane, but there’s certainly some similar traits. Another archetype that will appear in Rival Angels is that of the teacher, or in this case, Professor Shannon McCourt.
