Chapter: Chapter 6 - Rules of Engagement
Characters: Brooke Lennox, Krystin Moline
Location: Rookie House
And the change up! We’ll have to wait another update to see what happens with Sabrina and Vincent, but we did get to see what’s up with Brooke and Krystin. They’re going to be teaming up against the Catgirls soon, ya know! π
So yeah, Brooke’s not so keen on Sabrina after all and maybe a few sour grapes. At least Krystin’s stomach is feeling better from the boozing, or maybe she’s just focused on what Brooke’s saying.
Don’t forget to check out the WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO Recap on the main page. Great frivolity was to be had as well as trying to spread the word of Rival Angels about the land.
I’ve been Jerichoed!! I thought Brooke and Sabrina tension a warm, but still the heat is on..
Brooke is angry at Sabrina. and then Krystin is angry at Sun..it’s cool to see them in tag team. Sun and Sabrina VS Krystin and Brooke.
I think in the next episode we see, Brooke quickly run out and then maybe punch the hell out of Sabrina, I might say hit Sabrina’s head. or maybe not that, just break the fight and get angry at Sabrina more. like Brooke say “the bar fight is not enough, so your taking the fight out and into our apartment, and worse of all, attack Vincent.” It’s Dejavu again. Episode 33.
when you add up, more and more heat. The tension gonna burn, I think it’s burning.
this is very dangerous, not preparing for their next match, and now not getting along with each other.
Situation A:
Let’s say Brooke just get mad at Sabrina, but didn’t hurt Sabrina physically. Brooke will aim Sabrina’s loss, in the Sabrina next match. most likely against Loretta Diaz. the situation will happen like this, Sabrina threw Loretta outside the ring, so the refree is counting, then suddenly Brooke rushed and then nailed Sabrina with a vertebreaker, with the referee unnotice. which gives Loretta Diaz the advantage and then Loretta used her finishing to Sabrina.. 1.2.3.. Sabrina’s first loss. π
Situation B:
I guess, Brooke would do that against Loretta, maybe in the situation against Katherine “Kat” Smith, it’s way better here.
Let say, Chloe distracted the referee, so Jennifer and Katherin doubled team Sabrina, then Brooke quickly rushed in and pretend to help Sabrina. but instead giving Sabrina a Vertebreaker. then Katherine nailed Sabrina with her finisher, then 1..2..3… And the Winner of the Match Katherine “Kat” Smith.. Sabrina first loss.
I guess situation B would be perfect time of excution. So Brooke can show Chloe and the Hell’s Belle that Brooke is worth joining the team. if this happen, maybe there’s a great chance we can see Brooke on Hell’s Belle.
Brooke is furious, that’s good.. she can used the rage in her tagteam match, maybe they can break the catgirls in half.
Another situation for the next episode is that Brooke will hit Sabrina in the head, then Sun will hit Brooke, then Krystin will hit Sun. it’s rumble.. if this comes in the next episode, all is loss.
I still don’t know the fight cards line up.
All is loss I mean everybody loss the match.
Let say:
1 match: Sun VS Angel (1) (I don’t know’s her opponent yet, it’s just a sample)
Sun has the advantage then suddenly Krystin rushed in and interfer the match. and cost Sun the match. (I don’t think Krystin pulling this one out.) it’s just a thought and possible would happen.
Match 2: Catgirls VS Brooke and Krystin
Krystin had the advantage, then Sun interfer the match, and mist Krystin’s face, which cost their tag team match.
Here’s a question..
Is this come too early, I mean that Brooke is angry at Sabrina. Maybe hide it, for more further, then make a shocking revelation. like Brooke’s interferance and cost Sabrina’s lost. maybe the reader will be shock too. surely me… π
to make the story drama more mystery. hahahha… This episode is excellent, maybe it’s kinda early. I don’t know.
Dang! I was really wanting to see what Sabrina had changed into. I hope I’m proud of what she’s wearing.
The last comic reminds of an ad for a video game where one guy asks his friend why he likes the video game and he responds inanely, “she kicks high”.
Oh uh sabrina’s going to be in trouble, for just getting revenge on that man! Sadly I’m beging to dislike brooke. I hope there friends again.
Definitely no team spirit among these ladies.
But I think Brooke’s just putting up a big show here, going on about how she hates Sabrina. She is jealous about Sabrina’s success at the moment, that’s why she’s trying so hard to get Sabrine jealous at her as well. But in the long run, I think the two of them could turn out to be rather close friends.
What Brooke needs right now is a victory, preferably one that she earns for herself, without any outside interferrence. And for the upcoming tag-team fight against the Catgirls, this means that it should be Brooke who makes the winning pin.
I trust Krystin to be smart enough to realize this, but I’m not sure if she would actually go as far as to forego a chance to end the fight herself in order to let Brooke make the winning move and stroke her ego.
Vincent’s showing up on their back lawn is probably also a big turning point for the Brooke/Sabrina relationship. Brooke might take this occasion to completely antagonize Sabrina again by siding with Vincent against her. Or she might be creeped out by Vincent moving in on them and realize what kind of trouble her jealousy game may have gotten them into.
MGC, the tension between Brooke and Sabrina is just starting and it’s going to get pretty serious before the end. You could say that either of the scenario’s you wrote are good benchmarks for what’s going to happen and beyond. I’ll be posting the fight card soon, just not too soon if you get my meaning. I just finished designing the TV belt and I should be posting that soon.
Sorry A Mouse, but you won’t have to wait past the next update to see what Sabrina’s wearing in lieu of a skirt. Her ensemble may take the shine off that video game ad idea. lol
Claire, you never know where the paths of Sabrina and Brooke are going to cross but for now, there’s just going to be rough times between the two of them.
JackAce, I agree with you that Brooke needs a victory and that’ll right her ship, so to speak. We’re going to see the dynamic change a bit between Krystin and Brooke in the next pages but it won’t be anything too drastic. As far as their teamwork strategy, it hasn’t been discussed but will be addressed soon. Brooke will be using the Vincent appearance but not in the way you might think. *cue dramatic music* lol
It’s bothering me now, how come Brooke rages is flairing up just now., do you think it’s kinda late. Brooke can finished off Sabrina after the match, after Loretta nailed Sabrina. Brooke can destroy Sabrina right there.. even the on that point, Sabrina offer Brooke a hand.
if Brooke appeared, and interfered in Sabrina’s match. I think Hell’s Belle will be in the background.
I kinda notice these girls isn’t tired yet. will they get some shut eye for the day.
What if Brooke loss against the catgirls. surely Brooke will do the same for Sabrina. I mean is interfer in Sabrina’s match that will cost Sabrina. but I think, there’s a big possibity that Brooke and Krystin will win, the got the strenght advantage.
I kinda sense.. if the Hell’s Belle knew what’s Brooke is think, they might use her, to destroy Sabrina.
now, if Brooke really interfer in Sabrina’s match and cost Sabrina to loss. Sun will be very mad at Brooke. maybe challenge Brooke to a match.. surely Sun’s gonna lose.maybe injuring Sun in the match. Poor Sun… π
Actually, that’s quite easy to explain about Brooke. Brooke was getting cheered for shaking Sabrina’s hand and if she were to sneak attack Sabrina then and there, she would’ve been booed. Brooke’s not ready to be booed yet.
The girls are still a little wound up from the late night but they’ll be crashing soon. In fact, I think the next time you see Sun, she’ll be in bed. π
The Hell’s Belles plans are in motion and the full extent of it will be realized by the end of the next card. And you’re right about Sun, she’d take it very poorly if Brooke were to jump Sabrina.
Yeah, albone, I kind of figured that Sabrina’s outfit will be ok, when you said she changed clothing. The ad was just a random thought, that I thought others would appreciate even if it really didn’t apply here. And I had kind of figured that they were still hyped from the bar. When they crash they may really crash. Although, with this whole Vincent thing, it could take them some time to calm down after that. Whoever gets involved with that, in an “adrenalin rush” kind of way, may be awake for a while. Hopefully, after all this is over, they will all get a good night’s sleep; or day’s sleep, if that’s more accurate.
It’s interesting to read the speculations about the personality conflicts. What if Commissioner Gabrielle put these four together to delibrately spark tension and with it more dramatic bouts? Is one of the girls a plant to stir the pot? Brooke sure acts like that’s her secret mission.
Brooke stealing boys from the other girls… I can relate! My daughter used to do that. I’m glad she’s outgrown that behaviour! Yes, I’m a forty six year old man with a daughter in her mid twenties, roughly the age of the girls in the comic.
I’ve got a program on my work computer for making ‘Jacobsen case’ diagrams of work group communications. Too bad it doesn’t have indicators for degrees of mutual antagonism. I am just gonna have to see if I can import those… an unhappy face means dislike, a snarling tiger means hatred, and a mushroom cloud means ‘this planet isn’t big enough for the two of us’. Oh, and the program uses generic stick figures to represent people, I’ll have to find female icons of varying curviness.
I’m wondering, why was Vincent at the house? Who was he intending to spy on? Young men often do dumb things, so his failure to realize he risked angering four competitive contact sport female athletes skilled at immobilizing people is understandable.
I found out about Rival Angels late last week; the ‘New Readers’ feature was a big help getting up to speed. A new impression of mine is the comic is very well paced for three episodes a week.
HA, the ad idea is solid that I think many would appreciate. And you’re right about crashing, they’re going to be out like a light. Those that get reeled into the Vincent drama will have it happen later, but they’re burning at about 21 hours of being awake give or take some time. Day’s sleep is much more accurate. π
Ninja’d! Missed your post!
Thanks for the compliments Roller Derby Fan, and I’m glad that the New Readers page was helpful.
That computer program you have, if it could measure degrees of antagonizing would be working overtime!!
We’re going to find out what’s up with Vincent in the next update and you can judge for yourself if its sound, or if he’s just dumb. π Of course what Sabrina and anyone else involved do to him may iron all that out anyways. And interesting that you brought up the Commissioners motives for putting these four together. I can tell you that it wasn’t random and very much deliberate. More to come with that later on.
I missed this page? ultrabitch lol.I’ve seen some ultrabitches and sabrina arn’t wanna of them lol.Love the page
Ha! Glad you liked the page Prince Charming. Yeah, Brooke might be exaggerating a tad. XD
