Page 194 – Distraction
The Belle’s underhanded tactics continue! Just as soon as Sabrina catches a break, Kat’s there to swing it back towards Jen’s favor. We also see Sabrina tone down the showboating, but we are seeing her become a bit more frustrated with the double teaming.
While Sabrina’s elbow has healed some, its certainly susceptible to injury which is what Jen is shooting for, though about this time, she’ll accept Sabrina’s surrender. We know that Sabrina won’t submit to this hold, so we’ll have to see what happens next!
Chloe is waiting in the shadows and it would seem that she thinks that the Upstarts are going to be showing up soon, despite or rather because of what Brooke told them. Of course the jury is still out on whether a certain ninja will make her presence known.
More to come on Friday!
Check out my post WEBCOMICS WEEKEND report, complete with funny (sort of funny) quips and pictures!!
Good work Kat. That couldn’t have been much of a window unless Needlenose got up faster than I expected. Nice to see that Ultragirl’s plan is working too. Two on one is better than three on one, and you -know- the Marquis would be at ringside if it wasn’t for the leak of info via Brooke. You know if her IQ matched her bust size, she’d be dangerous… I’m just saying.
Nice arm lock from Jenifer. About time she used a move and not just random brutality. Of course, that kind of arm lock usually ends up with the person holding it with their shoulders on the mat and having to let go to avoid being pinned. I think Ultragirl can manage getting to her feet from this hold and swinging that trick too. I think that this will be when the pace picks up, and the faster things move, the more it benefits Ultragirl.
what can I comment in this episode?
Panel 1: “PowerGirl” Katherine Smith grabs “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini’s left leg, while Jennifer Needles in the ring fixing her hair.
Â
Panel 2: “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini manages to escape, and kicked “Powergirl” Katherine Smith.. good good.
Â
Panel 3: “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini hurdles the top rope, but Jennifer Needles kick “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini on the abdominal. here’s one question though, upon that kick.. good thing she didn’t fall ot side the ring?
Panel 4: Jennifer Needles executes the armlock.
Panel 5: “White Queen” Chloe De Sade.. nice to see here again…. and in the ring, Jennifer Needles release the armlock hold.
Â
overall
4.5/5 Stars! on the episode and the artwork.
Â
just a sidenote: now it’s proven that Jennifer Needles isn’t a weaklink in the Hell’s Belles team! Â and prove she is a great wrestler..

M.G.C. Battle cry: “ROAR!!!!! JENNIFER…………….NEEDLES…………..ALL……….FALL…………TO……….THE…….HELL’S………..BELLES…….ROAR…”
I bet that kick in panel 3 would put most opponents out of the match.
Â
Looks like Chloe de-sot has her magic wand ready to dispel any little upstarts… Ninja’s typically use those as tooth picks, though.
Â
Nice way to keep the suspense going, albone!
I don’t think, it’s putting names on The “White Queen” Chloe De Sade.Â
it’s Chloe De Sade!! Chloe De Sade!! and it’s not a magic wand!.. it’s a kendo stick!Shinai!
episode 189 and episode 194..
episode 189: Â “Powergirl” Katherine Smith got a knee pads. and here episode 194, “Powergirl” Katherine Smith doesn’t have knee pads?
Â
M.G.C. cheers : Let’s Go! Needles! Let’s Go! Let’s Go Needles! Let’s Go! Let’s Go!!
Â
M.G.C. battle cry: ROAR!! JENNIFER!!!!NEEDLES!!!! ALL… FALL… TO…. THE….HELL’S…..BELLES….ROAR!!
Wow, Chloe likes to talk to herself.   Maybe she should leave wrestling, take her magic wand with her, and seek soem counselling. After she inevitably loses to Sabrina in spectacular fashion, she’ll be lucky to find a job working a slurpee machine.
I do have to ask MGC… where has Jennifer proven she’s not a weak link? She starts out with plain power moves against a wrestler that’s larger and heavier than she is. That’s not smart at all. Especially when she’s supposed to be a technical wrestler. And she only got to do most of those because Kat distracted Sabrina. Where are the holds and locks that a technical wrestler uses as their strength? Seems to suggest she’s a weaker link to me.
Then she gets to use an arm lock, finally, and only because Sabrina got distracted again. She would have been helpless against the springboard if Kat hadn’t slowed Sabrina down. And, I didn’t notice she’d released it. Good eyes. Another mistake. She had an advantage in her speciality and she didn’t press it. Yes, I expect that Sabrina would have reversed it, but a good technitian practices how to put the person back down on the mat when they try that reversal and add even -more- damage to the arm. She just let go before she was even in trouble from it. Silly girl.
Even the Marquis can see it. Notice her comment. ‘Good lord, Jennifer. What’s taking so long?’ Obviously she’s not producing to the standards of the Hell’s Belles. Far from showing she’s not the weakest link, this is proving she truly is.
Right on, Salazen, the counter to that armlock/code red is priceless. XD Good catch with Sabrina’s plan too, if Kat’s this involved, can you imagine what’d happen if Chloe was there too? You also noticed that this match has not been the fast pace endeavor that favors Sabrina. Kat and Jen have been able to keep Sabrina grounded. Funny that you should bring up Brooke…. 😉
Hey MGC, yah, Chloe is looking to break that kendo stick over someone’s head and she’s thinking its the first person out of the entrance ramp. Great commentary, it was probably a dicey affair with Sabrina being able to stay in the ring after Jennifer kicked her in the stomach. As it were, it favored Jen and her armlock attack.
Thanks for the kind words, GhostEraser! Sabrina’s lucky her midsection didn’t fly into the 6th row! lol
Hey Jamie….mmmmm, slurpee. XD All the good villains talk to themselves, its like, in the handbook.
larger and heavier? Jennifer Needles height is 5″6, while “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini height is 5″7. an inch difference. Jennifer Needles weight 128, while “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini weight 135. 7lbs difference.. and then Jennifer Needles used plain power? ah? I didn’t see any powermoves.. Jennifer Needles used brawler /striker type.
suppose to be a technical wrestler.. maybe she is not a technical type of wrestler, she’s well balance type..Â
Then she get to use an arm lock, finally, and only because Sabrina got distracted again.
Â
Jennifer Needles knows how to used an armlock. and calling her a weak link.. yare-yare..
She would have been helpless against the springboard if Kat hadn’t slowed Sabrina down.
She may? She may not? Jennifer Needles can dodge the springboard.
Â
Loretta Diaz suffered countess high flying moves by “Ultragirl” Sabrina Mancini. can you call Loretta Diaz weak, while in the development territory Loretta Diaz won three straight?
Â
Weak-Links
Kurosaki Ichigo, Yasutora “Chad”Sado, Uryu Ishida, Orihime Inoue. basically Orihime is the weakest, eventhough. she has proven valueable. in her healing skills. so can you call her weak?
Everybody has a weakness.. Superman, Green Lantern, Hulk, Silver Surfer.. can you call them weak?
but even weak being is proven..valueable..
So I say Jennifer Needles, is not a weak link..
M.G.C. battlecry: ALL……FALL…..TO…..THE….HELL’S…..BELLES……ROAR!!! RAAAAAR!!!!Â
(massive chakra surround)
wait a minute! “Code Red” no! could that be… Jennifer Needles won against “Shinobi” “Lil Dragon” Sun Wong? Sun summitting to the “code red” episode 20?
yeah!!!
I like how this comic has a lot of back and forth momentum in the match. I think Sabrina telling her friends to stay in the back will keep it two on one as opposed to three on one. Two on one still kinda sucks, but at least it makes it harder to distract the ref.
MGC- I don’t get what you like about Jenifer Needles. We really haven’t seen that much of her and there’s nothing that makes her stand out from the other Belles. I mean, like whoever you want, but I haven’t seen anything reading all these comics to explain that kind of enthusiasm.
@Ken B3: It’s a blind fanboyism, portrayed as usual by MGC. Don’t be surprised.
SongMaker says awesome comments these people made.
DreamMaker says cool! let’s spice things up, shall we!
Spaceman says the Anti-Smark is here! spamming as usual.
Â
Â
SongMaker says kat holds on sabrina’s leg, but later got kick and aow! skip that part, so chloe is watching somewhere out of nowhere
DreamMaker says ye..the disturbing part is sabrina got hit and the pain, I can’t look.
Spaceman says ya! two pretty ladies fight on. chloe is a chick, which she use those thing and hit me. than to those ladies in the ring, and alos nice attire, she reminds me off.
SongMaker says no! don’t say it.
DreamMaker says por pabor
Spaceman says ya ya! they’re all pretty ladies.Â
Â
SongMaker say it ain’t so bad
DreamMaker gonna make you mad
Spaceman says everybody look down
it’s all in your mind
it’s nothing wrong, being a Hell’s Belles fan. I’m not the only Hell’s Belles fan in Rival Angels. episode 185. there’s a guy wear a Hell’s Belles official T-shirt.
and speaking of fanboyism.. I am a fan of lots of things and Rival Angels is one of them. is that wrong? is it wrong to cheer the Hell’s Belles?Â
there’s a lot of people being more than a “fan”Â
Even in StarWars.. there’s a DarthVader fans, and also Darth Maul fans too, is that wrong?
There’s even a “Joker” fans.. people cosplay as the “Joker” is that wrong? Is it wrong to be a fan of them. NO it’s not!
Â
and a blind fanboyism. I don’t think so.. Anti-Smark just here to produce spams.. how about an Anti-Spam for you!
BAHHHKA!!!
(a crow pass by) echoes: Aho Aho Aho
@M.G.C.: I think it’s great you are such a big fan, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to poke you in the ribs a couple of times for it. And you’re right; I should have said Chloe De Sot (forgot the capitals). A kendo stick? What good is a stick against a ninja? Unless it’s a ninja with a stick…
MGC- I get being a fan of Rival Angels, since I come home from work three times a week and check it pretty soon after. I get liking villains like the Joker or Darth Vader, because there’s a lot of examples you can point towards, demonstrating how cool they are. That’s different from what you’re doing, you’re like a huge fan of a guy who fought Batman in one comic, or some alien in the Cantina scene in Star Wars. That’s my point, not that it’s wrong to cheer for the bad guy or something, but that you got really, really enthusiastic about some character we don’t really know anything about.
