Chapter: Chapter 19 - The Big Night
Characters: Chloe De Sade, Sabrina Mancini
And we see that De Sade’s strategy is a grappling one and I think that suits her. Like a snake, she coils around her prey and squeezes the life out of them. It’s also an excellent defense against a high-flyer like Sabrina.
Voting Incentive!
I don’t know that Sabrina has improved her situation at all. Chloe’s on the bottom, but she’s still on top!
Wizard World Chicago!
Join me this weekend at Wizard World Chicago where you can find me at table 3731 where i’ll have comics, graphic novels, prints, posters and working on commissions! If you’re going to be around, please be sure to come by and say HI!
Too soon for a Dragon Sleeper combo, but then again…
It’s ON! That’s some good grappling to go from being mounted and pounded to full guard. Choe’s been getting some lessons! Maybe we’ll see that in replay.
Looks like Brina’s skills are going to get tested big time.
I need a notepad. NURSE!!
*Runs over with brenda’s notepad*
XD
Thank you! These two may be pulling out lots of new stuff in their inventory to surprise each other. I want to keep track on what and how.
Chances are I’ll be staring at one or both of them from across the ring at some point. I hate that “Where the hell did that come from?” experience.
Ya, Sabby didn’t try to mount, she gave Chloe enough wiggle room to get her legs back in it. The VI shows that she’s doing the right thing by getting vertical and take the leverage off those scissors. Sabrina needs to drop a double axe on Chloe’s exposed belly, that will pop those ankles open.
I completely agree, but that might be easier said than done, especially with Sabrina having her back to Chloe in this hold. If Sabrina tries to turn, As soon as she’s half way, Chloe could tighten the hold while Sabrina’s facing sideways, since it’s a slimmer position, and Sabrina wouldn’t be able to make the rest of the turn.
Looks great so far. Sabrina’s in torture and we can see that Chloe is NOT gonna be a pushover. I love grappling, as opposed to high-flying, so I hope you keep it in this vein.
….who said Chloe had no wrestling skills again? see how she easily counter sabrina? And who else said Sabrina got into chloe’s head? You guys really do not quite understand experience yet. Chloe is an excellent teacher and Sabrina will be the perfect practice dummy.
TEACH HER HUMILITY CHLOE IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL ELEGANT WAY!
so Brina’s early fire made her a little sloppy at the beginning and now Chloe is using her “she doesn;t know what i can do” advantage to take charge. sensible move as Brina’s already had a match so she’s already a bit winded to start and this won;t make it easier for her if the match runs long. nice feint in panel 1 to 2 where brina looks to deal the right uppercut but insteads fakes Chloe out with a left cross.
as for the VI i see Brina is setting up the commentary perfect for the patented “remember everyone, pinfalls do not matter in a I quit match so even though Chloe’s shoudlers are down there is no three count here!” line. 🙂
So this is Chloe’s style huh? No wonder she’s a top dog…er cat… er angel.
Everyone knows that in the world of pro-wrestling a normal “amateur” wrestling move can become a finisher.
Goes both ways too. A dramatic finisher can lose it’s magic. Look at the history of standing ab stretch.
But Donny it’s pretty darn hard to crack a rib with a scissor, especially the straight leg variety. Ribs crack from impact far easier than from bending. For sure Chloe doesn’t have the legs for it LoL It’s a wear down here by Chloe. She just better be careful not to get gassed – or countered.
A good move by Chloe, especially early in the match like this. If she can use that scissor lock to maybe crack a rib on Sabrina, it’s going to make it that much harder. When you’ve got an injured rib, you can’t even breathe without it hurting.
On the other side, What Sabrina needs to do is to take her elbow and start hitting Chloe in the leg with it. Shin, knee, thigh, anywhere. The pain from that will cause Chloe to loosen the hold and allow Sabrina to slip out
GAH!
Come on ‘Brina! Early days yet!
I CALL BS. There is NO way in hades that De sade has the talent to pull that move off. She has never shown that kind of skill before. She’s been near useless every other time even in the alley brina almost got the better of all 3 of them to suddenly come up with a move like that is BS. There is no way in hell that she has that kind of talent. Albone is stretching belivability here way too far. It’s not at all believable that she’d come out and show a good match brina should already have had her pinned given the skill level de sade has shown before. If de sade even comes close to winning this is going to be the most retarded match ever because de sade has just not shown that talent level at all prior.
we’ve never seen Chloe in a match before this so we don’t know what Chloe is capable of in an actual match. just because she doesn’t use wrestling moves during her ambushes doesn’t mean she doesn’t have any (kendo sticks work faster after all).just like we have no idea what Yvonne can do in an actual match and she was the one Brenda beat for the title.
Oh the other things Chloe could be doing with those legs…like cracking walnuts!
Since the kitten isn’t here, I’ll venture her quip. Hmmmm
Yeah she’d look good on my coffee table
Dyna, I think Chloe would disagree but if she gets to make Sabrina’s life very miserable, she’ll try and make it last as long as possible.
Champ, it’s always good to keep up on the competition, especially when all of their roads will lead to you. Sabrina’s not a grappling girl by nature and Chloe is, which is why, unfortunately for Sabrina, she’s playing into De Sade’s hands. Legs.
Darkmark, I know Chloe plans to keep things this way. The rest, is up to Sabrina. 😉
BBD, I think De Sade’s course syllabus is going to be quite exhaustive.
jpiv, while Sabrina’s not the model of self-control, I don’t think she’s quite caught up in her passions just yet. Chloe tends to be all over the place. One minute she’s cool and calm, the next she’s a raving lunatic. Great points about Chloe and her mystery to readers.
Right you are, Ph3n0m. De Sade is many things and ‘talented’ might be one of them. She’s certainly got Sabrina in a bad spot and we’ve just begun.
Donny, she’s going to have to do *something* to get out of that hold and remember to stay away from it. Chloe would like nothing better than to slowly squeeze the life out of her hated little opponent.
Golden Girl, she’s definitely going to try and rally from this, but it looks like a rough road, made better by supporters like you!
Tiffany, it seems when the rubber hits the road, De Sade is able to show some skill. In fact, she’s dominating Sabrina at the present moment. She’s a despicable villain but she’s capable of hurting an emotionally and physically drained Ultragirl. After all, Sabrina lost a huge match earlier so it’s not too hard for De Sade to pick up where Kat left off.
Trevor…or skulls!!!
See Albone I disagree ultra girl would be fired up and De Sade is a Poussour with no real skill we have not seen any at all to this point which means she can’t have any. To suddenly see some out of her is just not believable at all, its stupid for her to suddenly show talent.
We don’t really know that Chloe has no skills. She is the leader for a reason and her finisher won that best finisher award at the awards show. She can’t have the best finisher with 0 skill could she? Her fighting style is as a grappler, so it actually makes sense that she hasn’t used any moves during ambushes. What is she gonna do, lock in a submission during a brawl?
wow the fight just begun and Chole has been given a huge advantage start. This may turn out to be a long battle between these two. Especially if Sabrina thinks she can win this one, considering her previous fight earlier in the night. 🙁
What? People feel more than mild discomfort and irritation in that position?
… Well, I guess not everyone is put together the way I am… Still, though. Really??
Now would be a good time to grab an ankle, Sabrina, and use your body as a fulcrum until something goes ‘pop’ in a rather disgusting way. See how Chloe can focus on squeezing as you destroy her knee!
Hehee Good point. Though I prefer a counter scissor, so my hands are free for other misschief (pun intended *ducks*)
*would love to know what you would do with those free hands. Would love to see this demonstrated on Snow*
I’ve taught the catgirls the counter scissor and their very good at it. Their only problem is being on the small side, it can be hard for them to get vertical first.
But that’s true of them in the morning too, when the alarm goes off.
Yep, Chloe’s practiced that move on a lot of people… Part of her fan service, I’ve heard…
I like panel 2 – lots of people in D.C. need that…
wait chloe practice? Yeah right

Oh, Sabrina. You make me sad that you’re pinned so early. Just imagine Chloe is Vincent, and let the pummeling begin!
And to your previous response a couple pages back, yes – traveling for the win!
Great start to the fight and can’t wait for this action to explode.
