Sun showing up there isn’t a surprise is it? Or is the surprise she did it without a ‘Ninja’d?’ Sun is tough, but does she really think she can take these two on by herself?

Friday’s update generated 96 comments! The drama between Sabrina and De Sade is getting EPIC. 😀
Voting Incentive!
I think the voting incentive for Wednesday is to laugh. Check it out!
Oh, THIS will be interesting…
“Why didn’t you two show up when I called you?”
“Well see, it’s like this, Chloe…”
“SHUT UP!”
Technically in an I Quit match the wrestler can win if their opponent passes out. Sans Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin Wrestlemania 13…But for Sabrina’s sake…I’ll let this slide! Time to mount a CM Punk like comeback Sabrina! 🙂
I tend to agree about the KO rule — but of course wrestling feds aren’t necessarily very consistent even with their own rules, much less with rules from one fed to another, so that can be overlooked. (Actually, how the rules are enforced is usually related to where the angle needs to go…)
Given this turn of events and no KO’s, I’d say it’s basically a lock that Ultragirl will win this match, which wiill probably wrap up this feud at for the time being and maybe for good.
Based on the VI, I have to suspect that Sun is going to have some backup in short order. The bigger question is who it’ll be, since there are at least a couple of viable possibilities. I do agree with the comment below that this could be a step toward Sabrina winding up with Damage Inc., which would be an interesting plot development.
(Sadly, I missed the comments from somewhere in the 80’s forward, as I couldn’t get the page to load after that. I suspect that they would have topped a hundred if the system hadn’t crapped out at that point.)
As usual, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Wondered why Kat and Jenn weren’t at ringside
I’d like to say “I called it!” but half the people commenting on here did. I bet they try to force her aside, only for the rest of Damage Inc to close in, resulting in the VI.
So, there it is. The setup for Sabrina to recover and take victory, while Chloe’s wondering what’s taking so long for her stooges to show up.
GO SABRINA! YOU CAN DO IT! GET UP AND WRECK HER!
I for one did not. I was expecting Katherine and Jennifer to make it to the ring, only to have Sun, quite possibly Krystin, and maybe Kyra and Nikki to show up before they could do too much damage to Sabrina. Since Sun is intercepting Katherine and Jennifer backstage, I for one am surprised. But still, who else is going to show up to help keep Damage Inc. at bay while Sabrina gets a chance to recover? The suspense is terrible.
Although, this turn of events does support my theory of Katherine and Jennifer not showing up and Chloe freaking out at them later, so there’s that.
Hmm… Interesting. This is not how I expected this to go. I was thinking it was all going to go down in the ring. Still, what will Yvonne do?
The only thing I hate about this comic is that it updates so soon, meaning if I’m still conscious and think about it when the new page does go up, I have to wait that much longer for the next page to go up on the next day the comic updates!
De Fraud can’t even finish off a weaken opponent by herself, seriously , overrated much as a “veteran” player? Sure in an endurance fight give your opponent a good amount of time to recover, no wonder the French last great warrior was Napoleon lol.
Also, does this mean that Damage is going to be inadvertently pulled into this war or was this Yvonne’s plan all along?
Oops I forgot, looks like the Belles are finally showing up or based on that VI maybe Kat has other plans concerning her fearless leader De Fraud. Also, I got a good chuckle at the two male RA staff or arena staff running like hell to get out the of way way to earn that pay check.
96 Comments! Congrats, boss. That’s epic in itself. Maybe this one will beat it. The art is superb!
But Sun taking on those two? A blocking force? I dunno. I can’t really tell if she’s in the hallway. That would be the smart move (what I’d do obviously lol) as it is a choke point and limits the movement of those two. They’d get in each other’s way. Tactics, Sun. Tactics. I bet you didn’t read the Sun Tzu I gave you.
Let’s hope the cavalry is around the corner.
Might’ve been more, but the comments page started creaking at 95, and number 96 snapped it right in two!
I’m sure Damage Inc is there. Sun just claimed the honor of making the stop, while the rest close in like a pack of wolves. I’ve got this image of Yvonne being directly behind them right now…
Besides Damage Inc. as a possible back-up, Chloe was convinced the other Upstart Girls were too selfishly tied up in their own issues to be around to back up Sabrina. She could be very wrong.
If I wasn’t keeping an eye on our wounded Champ, I’d be there…
It’s a very sweet gesture and much appreciated, mei mei. Now, could you move out of the way of the monitor? I’d move but my neck is a bit sore. Hell of a match, huh? Care to make any bets? *grins*
Ah yes, here we go. Yvonne has shown several times she wants Sabrina’s talents to work for Damage Inc, and unlike Chloe who basically made a “bow down to me” demand with her offer Yvonne is going about it the smart way by making Sabrina feel grateful to DI. Sure, Sabrina might not be willing to join yet, but they already have her BFF and every time they pull something like this it chips away at Sabrina’s misgivings about them. This is how you get what you want. By being sneaky and manipulative. Not by making demands and acting like a shrill harpy the way a certain frenchwoman does.
It is about time that Sun showed up in this fight. 😀
I mean Sabrina will need all the help she could get. 😉
Aw, snap.
Yay for Sun!
…
I suppose she’s moderately redeemible from her poor ring form.
…
*mumble*
…
Get up ‘Brina! Ultra Kick the Witch!
while i was on the Damage Inc backup bandwagon with Sun’s appearance i’m starting to think an Upstarts reunion is in order to bring things around full circle. they all started together, impersonated the Belles together, came back together despite their different directions in season to back Brina before and after the TV title. However i think Upstarts show up first, Kat/Jen a look bit concerned, then the rest of Damage Inc shows up and Yvonne tells Sun. “We got this, go help Sabrina” <cue VI>
plus it finishes season 1 on an up note to have them all joined together despite their differences when the chips come down regardless of faction, face/heel dynamic and personal friction. Upstarts rush the ring (“no DQ in an I quit match” remember). beat Chloe down, everyone hits their finishers on her leading to a combo texas cloverleaf/camel clutch combo submission by Krystin and Brina leading Chloe to say the magic words.
then “UPSTARTS UNITED TEAM POSE!” <end season 1>
Upstart Girls respect Sabrina too much to take a cheap win for her. I think they will make a nice ramp appearance or Chloe will see the backstage brawl on the monitor and freak out while Sabrina comes to… then… WHAM!
Have a feeling this STILL isn’t the end. One helluva roadblock, but as the ref pointed out, Sabby still hasn’t quit, and I think she’ll still make a comeback. Think of Wolverine going, “You’ve taken your best shot…now it’s my turn!”
LOL 2O2BC, I could see it going exactly like that. XD
RAWF, I think Big K has got the idea that many times the rules coincide with where the angle needs to go. Hopefully, it’s not too surprising that the match continues as this is the second time the ref has restated that we need a verbal cue from the wrestlers. While that wouldn’t fly in normal rules or even MMA, it’s to show how bad it’s gotten between Sabrina and De Sade.
Dyna, it was all part of Kat and Jen’s plan. XD Brooke and Sun wouldn’t have any problems getting involved in the match normally, you are right that they are respecting their Ultragirl to succeed or fail on her own steam.
LOL Dragon man! That is definitely a possibility with Sun and Damage Inc. Should De Sade give her an opening, you can expect Sabrina to bring the wreckage.
Tarrasque, I think we’re going to find just what a big question that is, ‘what will Yvonne do?’
Good eyes, jabberwocky. I completed laughed too at including the ring crew taking off at the first sign of trouble. De Sade is many things, but having her Belle-mates join her in ending Sabrina in the middle of the ring in spectacular fashion in her hometown is a top priority. Will it happen?
Champ, I think we know that Sun’s got a lot of heart and guts, and more than willing to take on these two, but it might not work out so well. Still, it might buy Sabrina some time to recover.
LOL Steiner! I do believe you admire Yvonne’s work. XD
Marcus Martin, I agree with you completely on both counts. *nods*
You said it, Chris!!
LOL Golden Girl! Ultrakick the witch is an amazingly cool battle cry. XD
jpiv, I love that thinking. I mean, it would make great symmetry for the Upstart girls to get together. And how cool would that be if they invaded the ring and took De Sade apart and left her destroyed? Sun and Brooke would be totally down for that, and I don’t think Krystin would say No, but would Sabrina go for it? Hmmmmm….
Darkmark, we’ll get loads more info on Wednesday concerning the outcome of this match. That Wolverine line is very heroic and I could see Sabrina uttering it in this situation…should she get a chance.
And my favorite Wolvie line: “Sucker, you just made the worst mistake of your life. And your last.”
Waitaminnit! Whathehell? I missed the last page and now it won’t even load! This is a travesty of justice! Man, This is like missng the higlight of a great match because your kid yanked the TV off the wall….again!!!!
Trying to see if there’s a fix for it, but in the meantime, check this out:

Thanks Albone! saved me I was dying to find out what happened. no wonder it got 96 comments!
Damn, if Sabby gets defeated twice in one night, what will that mean for her career?
“Your ass has been bumped back to developmental. And Brooke, stop sleeping with everyone in sight.”
I’ve gotta think that as long as Sabrina made a good accounting of herself in those two matches she’d be in little danger of heading back to developmental. She’s already shown that she can hang with top-tier competition even against a stacked deck, and she’s got a solid and steadily growing fan base, even managing to get the crowd behind her here in Chloe’s home. (Big assist to Chloe for that, but still. 😉 ) Bottom line is that win or lose tonight she’s going to emerge as a bigger draw than ever, which is usually the key factor in keeping a grappler in the spotlight.
Having said that (and despite what’s currently happening in the ring) I now believe she’s a virtual lock to win this one.

Yeah kick the ever livin shit out of them Sun buy Bree enough time to come to and brake Chloe’s legs
You know, Just because Sun stuck her nose into Hell’s Bell’s business does it mean that anyone else is backing her up. I have the feeling Sun is acting alone. It doesn’t take much to confuse and distract those two anyway.
Even when Sun pulls some heel moves with her stable mates, I still have respect for her, cause she proved herself and flew solo, she has the moves. Also Yay for Sun. I can’t wait to see Chloe standing and yelling from the cage for her backups as Sabrina gets up and wastes her. Since I’m sure Chloe will once again be distracted with what she wants to do. This is exciting. Get me through 12 days of work. I love it!
Y’know, I’m really not sure whether I’d prefer Damage Inc or the other Upstarts backing up Sun. The Upstarts together would be an elegant storytelling move, a show of unity at the end of the first chapter after their rocky start. On the other hand, Damage Inc stepping in to support Sabrina against the Belles would result in some truly awesome storytelling potential.
All I know for sure is, I want the Belles to be blocked, and Chloe to pay for her crimes!
Ah, I love it when a plan falls apart. Sun may or may not be able to take on the new TV champ and her *ahem* close freind, two on one, but she’ll definatly be able to slow them down, maybe even blind one of the with the Ninja Mist like she did to Jen at the award show. Can De Sad keep her head when things don’t go the way she planned? Normally, heels can’t.
great page. Don’t quit Sabrina
Woohoo Sun! Makes the save and the appearance backstage 🙂 Gotta love it. Sabrina will manage to get out of that hold.
Sun can hold her own against these two punkfaces. How did they plan to get in the cage anyway?
Sun doesn’t have to pin those two leaky $#!&pails. All she has to do is hold the bridge like Horatius until Sabrina gets her second wind.
Here’s a little something that’s puzzling me – what good will Jen and Kat do trying to join in a cage match? Is it an open-topped cage, or do they have some other way in? It’d be hilarious if they got down there somehow only to find themselves staring in helplessly as Chloe goes “D’oh!”
LOL I’m not sure what the three stooges were planning but I hope damage inc puts a hurt on them, especially the useless needles. it sucks that brina was rendered unconcious by a talentless French hack whose been coasting on her reputation, but oh well. She will hopefully come back and win.
