Yep, Tokyo as a lot of you predicted. But we have a couple of new players, as would be expected in an entirely new continent for Sabrina.
Voting Incentive!
Coming up on Monday, what does the look on Atlas’s face mean for Sabrina?
She should have learned lots more than that to make a good impression. of course they would say to her that English was fine. So… maybe that preview was of lesson one?
Maybe it was…! 😉
Rats. I was thinking she might be coming down my way.
Well, not seriously.
Go Brina!
I’m hoping to have an excuse soon to take Rival Angels there. Brooke would certainly love to go.
Bonsai! Bonsai! Bonsai! The start of a new career for Sabrina or something to show her discipline or maybe the way Bushido forges a strong warrior spirit for her return to Rival Angels… hmmm
Maybe all of the above. XD
As Brenda said, she could really use more Japanese language skill… but on the other hand, it would be really unreasonable to expect somebody to learn even the basics of a language on an international flight with little to no advance notice. Anybody who holds that against her is a jerk. If she can manage a decent pronunciation of the names, she’s doing better than most visitors to Japan anyway.
I don’t think anyone should be surprised that she didn’t pick up the language on the flight over. I mean, all she had was her iPhone, anxiety and a cramped seat to help her out.
It’s good to see Sabrina, maybe she can hone her skills, and learn to control her temper.
Would you still love her if she learned to control her anger? lol
Question..
why train with them.. not with Akira..
really like to see Akira again
Maybe Akira is part of the MWA….! 😉
this is dangerous.. Albone..
if Sabrina trained with Akira now.. and go back to RA..
Sun will be very jealous.. then Sun and Sabrina will be feud..
No more UltraDragon!!!
I knew it! Awesome stuff.
🙂
Actually, most Japanese will NOT speak Japanese to a gaijin. Anyone who is not Japanese and speaks Japanese to them will be replied to in English if that person speaks it. They consider their language sacred and only a true Japanese person can speak it. I had a friend in college, completely fluent, went over to work and no one would speak back to him in Japanese and they had some psychological block where he could speak to them but the person would reply like he spoke English.
i always throught it was more of a thing where westerners trying to speak japanese misprounced it badly enough to the point where it was easier for the japanese to understand them by speaking english. but now i know. and knowing is half the battle
GI JOOOOOE!
This wasn’t my experience over there. But once was a study abroad high school exchange. The other was to visit the ryu and study aikijutsu. It could well be these are not your average settings.
Matsamora isn’t going to let a little thing like Sabrina not speaking Japanese get in the way of doing business with her. I mean, he does seem happy to have Ultragirl on the team.
Okay…I can get the punishment, but I never knew Japan knew anything about Wrestling ? 🙁
Giggles
Really? Joshi (female wrestling) used to be super huge, and is still a big attraction.
Japan!!
Oh Man! That’s, like, going to be a super expensive place to call!`
Hmmm.
Interwebs chat me thinks.
Yes.
*nod*
You can always Skype!!
It’s Kevin Nash!!!!
Oh wait …..
A mix of Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Kind of like the character in the DOA movie.
Bass Armstrong. What an amalgam of wrestlers that character was, Named after the Armstrong family, looked like Hogan, was played by Kevin Nash in that god-awful movie…
My wife said that was Nash was the best part of that movie…Him imitating Hogan. Genius.
No idea why the white outline box. O_o
Atlas’ expression seems to scream “fresh meat for skull squadron!” (and no i don;t even remember what video game/movie that came from so don;t bother asking me). and to tie in my little add in on dyna’s post he seems most amused by Brina’s prononciation of her one word of Japanese
We will get more than we can take of what Atlas’s intentions are in general and for our little Sabrina.
Hope Sabrina does well in Japan.
I think Japan is going to suit Sabrina quite well. They’ll take her already high-flyng style, and probably work in some ground game to it, like Puroresu is famous for
Most certainly more curious about who’s giving her the beat down. Curse you back story! lol j/k 🙂
